      Had a new roof installed oct 2020 with a life time warranty. Summer of 2022 it starts leaking, damaging the the ceiling on the floor below. When contacted to come fix the roof they did a no call no show the first day. Eventually they came and said it was fixed, however it continued leaking. They came again and supposedly fixed it again, however it is still leaking. Another roofer came to look at it and advised of areas that were shoddy work and missing materials. A two year old roof will need to be completely replaced. They also left nails in the driveway which resulted in a flat tire to add insult to injury.

      Yes, I did go over and see Mr. ****. Mr.**** was advised by myself that putting on a new roof without addressing some other issues could lead to a possible leak. He was advised to replace the siding on all 3 dormers, but didn't want to spend the money. We did encounter a small leak on his dormer. Mr. **** was advised from me again, that he should re-side the dormers. They are original cedar siding that is all rotted out being over 100 years old. He said he didn't have the money right then and his wife had just past on. So, it was hard talking to him while he was very emotional talking about his wife. I've done or best with the circumstances I was left with. Lastly, he a liar. I just went by his house last week and there is no new roof, It's the roof I installed.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.


      There are some inconsistencies with this response, which undermine the credibility of this business. Firstly, this work was done before anyone passed away. He may be confused with follow up attempts to get the problems corrected, which sounds like he wanted more money to fix shoddy work. Secondly, calling someone a liar while failing to recognize your own work is suspicious. A new roof was put on by a different company which pointed out areas that were not done correctly the first time. There have been no problems since the work was done by the new company. We’ve spoken to other customers that have had the same issues, which is apparent by the other 1 star reviews here.
