The combination of service charges and delivery charges from pseg are absolutely ridiculous! My wife and I live alone in a small 1 bath 3 bed home in Yardville NJ. Our electric bill alone without gas for the month of December is almost $600!!!

I signed up for net metering (as I just had solar installed) and time of day billing with super off peak. At first I was not aware that each month they expect the customer to reconcile their credits each month. Which can be a pain but they also expect you to submit that form 10 days before your meter reading with no exceptions. In my case since I had just started I could not utilize this form as I did not know how much I generated. This is an anti-consumer practice as I am not able to complete the form during the first billing cycle as I do not have access to how many credits are in my bank nor how much I owe for the first month which resulted in a large bill and a stockpile of credits that I could not apply to it. Unfortunately this conversion bill is in Inevitable for any new solar customers who do not already have credits in their energy banks and choose to switch to time of day. In the end they refused to apply the credits I generated during that first month to my bill even though their policies are what created this issue so I have to pay it. The only action I could take was to switch back to their standard plan to avoid this problem in the future.

Awful experience with this company. Been having issues with payment site for this company so had a couple returned payments. They locked my account so continued having issues payment. They finally gave me another site to use to make online payment. My issue is they sent some guy to my house to collect payment. I told him I would make payment today and he said it has to be now or I turn off your power and was not nice about it. I told him no problem but ***** have to wait as I pull up my customer ID and make payment. He continued to stand there staring into my house from the other side of the screen door. He then rushes me and says I need the confirmation number I told him he needs to wait and go do something else. I made payment, showed him confirmation and told him to get off my property. He then sat in his car, in my driveway on my property, for 10 minutes. I told him he needs to go now, I will not accept any intimidation tactics for something I easily made the payment for. I have been with them for over 4 years now without an issue from my end. Also I have lived in a few other states and never had an issue . Is this standard practice to have them stare into your house and try to intimidate you until payment is made. Threaten to turn off power unless payment is made immediately . Awful company ethics, I am embarrassed for you. I will continue this complaint until I get a satisfactory resolution

I'm in the process of contesting a charge from this company. I was charged for service after we discontinued service. This charge came from a third party billing company on behalf of PSEG. I do not understand why I would be charged once I cancelled service and was up to to date with payments. And the amount of the charge, even for a partial month, was more than a typical monthly charge we would received from this company. If anyone is working with PSEG, I would highly suggest monitoring statements and getting clarity from the company for outstanding charges, if you are moving. This final statement is ridiculous and makes zero sense. And it's now affecting my credit score so I'm beyond angry.
