    Livingston won the bid for our military move and subcontracted their own no touch over-the-road driver. First they broke the bed in our master bedroom while packing it, and were not forthcoming when asked what occurred that led to the broken bed. Then, the driver didn’t show up for our loading day, but instead showed up the night the move was supposed to occur. The next day, with the truck finally at my residence, Livingston said they had no loading crews available to load, and that we were simply “out of luck.” Now I’ve missed my departure date and will likely miss my report date to my next installation. The government is paying this subcontractor a substantial amount of money and their actions constitute a breach of contract. I need this company to finish out loading my household goods!

     This person is misinformed about who is responsible for many of the issues:   Livingston won the bid for our military move and subcontracted their own no touch over-the-road driver. We did not do either of these things. We are in fact a subcontractor and **** *** is the one who performed the actions above. First they broke the bed in our master bedroom while packing it, and were not forthcoming when asked what occurred that led to the broken bed. I am unaware of this incident but if they say it happened, it likely did and it shouldn’t have. Then, the driver didn’t show up for our loading day, but instead showed up the night the move was supposed to occur. The next day, with the truck finally at my residence, Livingston said they had no loading crews available to load, and that we were simply “out of luck.” This driver was not ours and yes did show up late which is what caused all these issues, this is the responsibility of **** ***, not us as we have nothing to do with the hiring and dispatch of this driver. The job was scheduled for 6/14, and didn’t show up until it was too late to complete the job so we accommodated a date change and ended up completing this job on the date of this complaint even though we had 0 obligation to do so and it took away from our other jobs we had scheduled. Now I’ve missed my departure date and will likely miss my report date to my next installation. The government is paying this subcontractor a substantial amount of money and their actions constitute a breach of contract. Again, this is **** ***, not us, but they did not miss their departure date so this complaint should be removed from us as well.
