      I ordered some items that require a quote from sales. It was the *** trim set in a stainless steel finish, but sales quoted me the trim in a different finish in dull chrome, and to my mistake, I didn't catch the error and placed the order.When I got the item, I discovered it was in a different finish, so I tried to get a replacement. JMAC sales insisted that *** does not offer different finishes on the trims but only on the locksets. Knowing this was impossible, I refuted it, and JMAC doubled down and told me to call ***.I called, and *** confirmed they offer trims in different finishes that match the lockset (obviously..), but JMAC refuses to exchange the item, so I asked for an RMA to initiate a return.I shipped it back and was charged with a 35% restocking fee (the order value was ******, and I got ****** back). I looked at their returns policy, which stated a 7% restocking fee, so I asked sales to look into it. After multiple follow-*** over two weeks, I got a reply saying they have a 35% restocking fee, and then I noticed they updated their returns policy on their website. I got a screenshot of the before and after the update, but I don't think there's much recourse I can take.

      I ordered 6 and returned one because I over ordered. When I installed the 5 I kept and discovered one did not work. However the older one I was replacing still worked. We determined that the detector was at fault. I called the company and asked how to proceed. The attendant kept me on the phone waiting for over 10 minutes and came back to tell me that he didnt know how to handle the return/replacement and said someone would call me back. So now I have a detector that I paid for that doesnt work. And ** left with taking more time to track down how to get my money back! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN JMACs CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WOULD NOT BE INCLINED TO RECOMMEND THEM.

      Repeat customer, always have what I need. Easy to order! Only complaint I have is they have occasional long shipping times.

      Because I found parts that were hard to find elsewhere for reasonable prices I was able to repair our lock rather than replace it at greater cost. The sales team was most helpful.
