It was clearly stated in our contract that Buffalo RV would cover the first payment. Despite repeatedly inquiring about this matter over the course of several weeks, I have yet to receive any concrete response or resolution. The only reply I have received is that you will "look into it" for me.

The experience I had with Cassandra was equally disappointing. I was asked to call and confirm the details of the work that needed to be done, as the scheduled date was approaching. Despite my numerous attempts to reach out via calls, text messages, and voicemails to both the Cassandra and her colleagues, I received no response until 10 days later. This delay in communication caused significant inconvenience as I had been trying to plan a vacation around the service appointment, including renting a vehicle and missing out on half of the events I had planned.

They finally reached out a day before the appointment to bring the vehicles in, and after leaving it with them they promptly cancelled my job. I was not notified until almost 1 pm on the day of the appointment, though work was supposed to start at 8 am.

Also, the condition of my RV when I received it was bad. I was promised that the vehicle would be cleaned up, yet the interior was dirty. I also found a half-full coffee cup, which appeared to have been left there for weeks.

Upon receiving my keys, I was astonished to find that I was given three sets of keys, with one set belonging to a completely different unit. This was concerning and raises questions about the competence and organization within your establishment.

As a customer, I cannot help but feel deceived by the promises made during the purchasing process, particularly the emphasis placed on Buffalo RV's commitment to assisting veterans. If this is how you treat individuals you claim to value, I am left questioning how your business conducts itself with other customers.

Approximately 10 months since we purchased (2) 5th wheel trailers from Buffalo RV. Im at a total loss of words in terms on why nothing has happened to the repairs/parts/materials to the 5th wheel in Florida. Ten months of run around and side stepping in taking care of a unit that was heavily damaged and defective. Being told numerous countless times… “Don’t worry, we’ll make everything right!” . Buffalo RV only cares about selling their units but not standing behind them. There were 19 different things wrong/broken in this unit that we were told would be fixed. We repeatedely called/texted/emailed and were given the run around.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/13/2023

We are working to find a service company that can go onsite, since the unit cannot be moved.

    Business Response

    Date: 02/20/2023

Our service manager was able to setup an onsite appointment for 02/27 @ 12pm. They will be going out there to perform a few repairs and diagnose a couple other issues, which require a follow up appointment.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. While Im pleased that they have finally set up an appointment to address these issues, until they actually complete the repairs I am not satisfied. Again it took 10 months to get the appointment. So in my mind, the matter can not be resolved until the repairs are completed.

Our experience at Buffalo RV was a complete nightmare. We purchased a used model from their lot at the beginning of the summer and the buying process could not have been more stressful and mishandled by the staff at Buffalo RV. Where to even begin... 1. They were quick to get their money. 2. The walk-through process was absolutely ridiculous. There were several issues (i.e. missing fan blade, HUGE dent in the refrigerator, missing filter, sound bar that does work, missing propane take covers that were on it the day I signed the paperwork but they were missing the day of walkthrough etc.). None of these things were disclosed to me BEFORE we purchased the RV. I was told to sign off on everything and they would deal with the issues "off-line". I was very clear in my complaints during walk-through that the refrigerator door needed to be replaced. Its been 3 months and I've called and texted about it too many time to count and its still unresolved with absolutely no effort on their part. Quite honestly, their sales team makes it very clear that they dont care. 3. Upon delivery of the RV, we called immediately about damage that was done in transit. I sent pictures and called the manager of the store who continuously ignore my calls and voicemails. Once I finally got someone else to respond back with an answer - their response was "its a used model and therefore we are not responsible for damage during delivery". UM - WHAT?! I went back and forth with Jason on this several times and to this day there is no resolution and not one person at the store has made any attempt to make it right. In addition, Buffalo RV kept all of the jacks that came with the camper so upon delivery I didnt have any jacks to level the camper. After calling and complaining they agreed to give me 2 jacks and told me I had to buy the other 6 myself (also not disclosed to me prior to purchase or delivery). 4. Once the RV was setup there is a very long list of issues...I don't even know where to begin.

Trailer was delivered to my home at *** ***** ***** ******** ***** *** ***** on 10/18/2022.It was purchased at the dealer ship on October 15,2022, the dealership is 3 hours from my home the offered to deliver to the house for nothing.
This trailer was suppose to be cleaned and was never touched. Greasy stove, stains in sinks that they said would be cleaned off, tooth pasts in bathroom sink, etc... have pictures of it all.
The awning has holes in it and is nasty dirty wise. The refrigerator door to frig & freezer does not stay closed and falls open & items fall out. Peter said send pics and I did an heard nothing.
Peter had said it would be cleaned.
Told from first day we would have keys. Nothing! Said they would overnight them cause former owner sent wrong keys, still nothing.
Was told exterior doors would be aligned, nothing was done. They would have needed the keys to do that and no one can find them, I guess.
Have not received anything , have text from Peter (sales). He has promised numerous things by text, and he quit responding.
Was told they were sending new pistons for both doors. Also said they would send pistons to lift bed up for storage compartment underneath. Nothing.
Have emailed and text & talked with:
    John J***** - Service Manager
    Tom F***** - Service advisor
    Pete H***** - salesman
    Liza F****** - Sales Manger
They do not respond to emails, phone calls, etc...

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I am still waiting on the companies response. Yes they have said they will replace the awning. There are multiple problems with the trailer & have talked to some nice people from the business. But I am waiting on things to move forward. I have received keys for the trailer but they do not work. I have received 1 piston for 1 door. They have said I will receive another for the other door. Also suppose to receive 2 pistons for raising the bed. They are planning on sending someone to work on the trailer, replace awning. Fix locks, and replace pistons for both doors and the bed,etc.... The good part is at least I have talked to someone from the business.  I think things are moving forward but they promised all kinds of things when I bought the trailer from multiple RV employees and nothing happened at all. They would not even talk to me. So hopefully they continue to try to get these issues resolved.

On October 12, 2022 I dropped my camper off at Buffalo RV to have several warranty items fixed and to have it winterized I got a text message from Kev the Cassandra on October 20 saying at the camper was ready to be picked up that everything was fixed I sent her a text message back that I wouldn’t be able to pick up the camper on certain days because I work till five I was told to call and I could pay for this ahead of time and then I can come pick it up after hours I tried to call several times to pay for this with no phone call back from Cassandra anybody in the service department Every time you call the service department you get a third-party and he will never patch you went to West Seneca to speak to anybody there I went there this past Saturday which was 5 November I paid $269 for the winterization and I was told by John because Cassandra was not there that everything was done and I could pick it up I paid the money went out to go hook up to my camper found out that my kingpin was broken pieces were missing from it and the safety cable that ensures that nothing is going to happen out on the highway to hurt anybody else or myself was disconnected and nobody said a word about it being broken. Buffalo in the RV knew that the safety devices were broken on the fifth wheel of the camper because they were touched up into the storage area even though the wires were severed I was not able to hook to it I walked back into the store to tell them that it was broken they came out to look at it with several people and apologize about it now keep in mind if I would’ve hooked to this thing and drove it down the road by the time I go to the first turn at one would either rolled over or two would’ve fell off the back of my truck causing damage to the truck and possibly heading and hurting somebody else in the public as I drop to the ground but no Care was given by Buffalo RV for this the only thing that they offered me was to fix it free and top off my propane for my troubles

On 8/22/22 I purchased a 2021 ******** ******* ** ***** from Buffalo RV in the amount of $55,396.05. I was assured by the company that this was a brand-new RV and was in a minor accident, but that it was completely fixed. My RV was picked up and delivered to my property on 8/25.On 9/22 I noticed and area on the slide out looked stained and when I lifted it up, it was soaking wet. I contacted Buffalo RV & spoke with John, explained my situation, and sent him the video and pictures per his request. A technician came out to my property on 9/23 and explained that there was a metal bar, along with what looked like a piece of scrap wood that was screwed into the slide out. He explained that he thought he had fixed most of the water leakage, but would have to come back and put additional tape over the metal screws where water could be leaking in. On 9/30 I contacted Buffalo RV to see why no one has followed up to seal the metal screws and to inform them that there was still an excessive amount of water coming into my camper. I did not receive a call back from that message I left. On 10/3 I again contacted Buffalo RV at 9:20am, John came on the line, I explained that there was an excessive amount of water still coming into my RV and that I now had a heavy-duty dehumidifier running 24/7 to try to keep moisture from doing more damage. I received a call back from John at 4:39pm assuring me that a technician would be out the next day. Needless to say, no one from Buffalo RV came to work on my RV. On 10/7 I contacted Buffalo RV, spoke with Mike. He was quick to inform me that it was a brand-new RV and now that it had been driven off the lot, it was considered used and that drops the value & I would be losing money on this because I would not get a refund. I will be going to Buffalo RV tomorrow to speak with him in person. I already feel like I have been deceived & do not trust their promise to fix it.

We spoke to the customer on 10/7/22 and they refused service.  We will fix the camper for them under the manufacturer warranty.  We went out to there house on 9/23 as a courtesy because they couldn't tow it to us.  We will pick it up at no charge and bring it back to them and no charge after the repairs are made.   They can not just return a camper after using it.   All we need them to do is to call us to schedule the repairs.  We are calling again now 10/14/22 at 2:53pm to try and schedule the repairs.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 10/22/2022

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Buffalo RV came out to my location on 9/23/2022 due only at
my request due to the water leak and warranty repair on the AC Units that was
never completed before I had the RV picked up. The technician only had a
replacement part for one of the AC Units and stated he would have to get
another part and fix the second AC Unit.  He also stated that he would need to come put tape over the metal screws
along the top of the slide out.  He also
stated that he had never seen a unit “fixed” like that and seemed in total disbelief.  I had not mentioned this in the original
complaint but wanted to address the statement that it was a courtesy call.  On 10/3/22 as previously stated, I set up an appointment with
John to have a technician come out the next day to try to repair the excessive
water leaking into the RV, an appointment that no one showed up for or called
to cancel.  On 10/7/22 I was informed
that the technician was already scheduled for other jobs and was never going to
show up.  When speaking with Mike, he
told us it was never in an accident but when told that sales and service said
it was, he said it was only backed into a pole and it was sent out for
manufacture warranty already, which was I was not told about before sale and
clearly wasn’t fixed.  Buffalo RV never discussed
towing my RV to them, let alone for free. On 10/14/22 I did receive a message from Buffalo RV to try
to schedule a pickup time for my RV.  I
was not given any information on how they would fix the unit or how long it
would take to fix the unit.  Considering
the condition, the RV was sold to me, please refer to pictures attached, with metal
strip and multiple metal screws, what looks like a used piece of scrap wood
screwed into slide out, I do not trust Buffalo RV to fix the unit properly. I am not “just returning a camper after using it”, I was
informed that this was a new RV that was never used but was clearly sold to me
with a damaged slide out that is now leaking water into the RV.  I was informed that the RV must have been
sent that way from the manufacture.  Whatever the reason, I was defrauded in the amount of $55k and want to
return the RV or have it replaced with a new RV of the same make and
    model.

    Regards,
    ******* *****

Purchased a camper from Buffalo RV Aug 2019. Kitchen drawers never closed and kitchen faucet was not able to be moved side to side. due to defect in materials and workmanship. Multiple attempts were made to have repairs made during spring and summer of 2020. Phone calls never returned by anyone at dealership. Received 2 notices from manufacturer regarding need for safety repairs on gas stove and propane regulator . After multiple emails an appointment for service was finally made for the 2 recall issues and the defective items to be replaced. The camper was taken to Buffalo. The recall issue for the range was completed and a second defective leaking faucet was installed. The parts for the drawers and propane regulator were not available even though we were told everything could be done on that day since it is a 60 mile one way trip to the dealership. That was fall of 2021. We had the repairs for the safety recall completed at our expense in June of 2022 so we could use the camper for a planned trip. I again emailed the dealership in July of 2022. I sent the requested photos and measurements on the same day 7/18/22. It is now September 6, 2022 and no one from the dealership has gotten back to me. This has been dragged out for well over 2 years and we have not been able to get it resolved. We have already made the safety repairs and just want the drawers to be fixed so they will close properly.

I purchased a 2013 Winnebago Vista 35 from Buffalo RV in February 2021. I am a first time RV owner. During the walk through the salesman tried to lower the hydraulic jacks, which came up as an error(unable to level). I asked about it and he said the parking lot was too steep so that why the system stated that, but it works fine. Once I got it home, which was 20 miles, i tired the leveling system and it was not working. I immediately contacted the dealership to let them know. They stated is wasn't covered by their dealership, even though they have a 30 day warranty on used RV's. I told them I purchased a extended warranty from them at which time they told me to bring it in. I took the RV in, they inspected it, confirmed the hydraulic leveling systems did not work, called the warranty, who confirmed. However now it looks like this issues is being help up at corporate. I would like to have this issue resolved ASAP so in can use my RV verses just making payments. Thanks
