    Windsong submitted bill to *****(My Insurance) ***** denied initial bill as Windsong coded the bill incorrectly, when my wife contacted *****(For 3rd Time on this issue) she was put on hold while ***** rep contacted Windsong to tell them to resubmit bill with proper codes. after a long time on hold ***** came back from hold and told my wife they will not resubmit with proper codes that we are responsible for bill(Windsong Rep. told ***** rep we(Wife & I) are responsible) this is a covered expense by my insurance and has been paid for about the last 10 years or so there refusal to resubmit is causing undue stress on my wife as she will need this procedure again as its yearly and always covered in the past.

    Received service on 10/4/22 that was inaccurately bill to my insurance company. Resolved issue on 4/7/23 where Windsong via ******** ******** advised would be receiving a $141.74 credit and my account balance was negative.

    On 6/9/23 received a bill stating we owed $1,699.26 dollars and than in 6/13 received an additional collection notice for $637.

    Tried to resolve with windsong however they refuse to have person call me back nor can explain why I owe the money now. I have contacted my insurance company but they said Windsong was also unresponsive to their requests.

    I am writing the BBB in hopes of resolving my account with this terrible company, which has caused me endless anxiety and hurt my credit.

    On January 20, 2022, I went to Windsong Radiology to receive an MRI. During a conversation prior to my appointment, I asked if my insurance would cover the visit. They said they believed that I would have a $75 co-pay. In the end, they charged me $581 for their services on February 26, 2022. Rather than fight, I started paying my bill. I don't have $581 for a single payment, so I sent them $100.10 the same day I received the bill. They cashed that check on March 3. From there, I sent them $100 on March 25, $50 on April 26, and $50 on June 21. In total, I paid them $300.10, leaving me with a balance of $281.

    Without warning me or contacting me—and without good cause—Windsong sent my account into collections, hurting my credit and causing me no end of stress and anxiety. I received a bill from ******** ****** ******** telling me I owed $365.30. I had incurred an $84.30 penalty for being put into collections. I have contacted Windsong multiple times about this matter, and they simply don’t care. I can’t believe this company, which told me I would only pay a $75 charge, not only has taken my money, but also it has damaged my reputation and sold my account to a debt collections agency. I was paying them—and they were cashing my checks. In fact, they had no problem cashing my final check on June 21, 2022 after they had already sent my account into collections sometime in May.

    I demand that Windsong remove my account from collections, correct my credit report if they reported this account, and waive the remaining balance for the endless headaches, harassment, and heartache they have caused. I have pursued this for months. What happened was wrong and needs to be made right. I ask the BBB to help advocate for me in this matter; the little guys deserve help when fighting big companies like this.
