  ve been a Planet Fitness member for years, and Ive made multiple attempts to cancel my membership with no response. Theyve ignored emails and can't cancel over the phone, making it nearly impossible to cancel.This kind of behavior feels intentional, and Im concerned they may still try to charge me or hit me with a cancellation fee. Planet Fitness should not make it this difficult to stop a service. Im warning others, dont waste your money on this gym.

  Beware planet fitness will use your information and tap into other active credit cards/debit card if you miss any payment without authorization. Just happen to check my credit card today. They been taking money out for months, I gave them a debit card. How that happen, again without my knowledge or authorization.

  Posting this here just in case, if anything ever happens at Planet Fitness, remember I warned you. That place is a total hazard! ******. I cant believe theyre still open with nothing getting fixed! Its been over a year with same issues!!My previous ****** review: I truly enjoy coming to this Planet Fitness. Ive tried other locations in the area, and this one is my favorite by far. But the ongoing issues at this location are unacceptable and need immediate attention.The roof has been leaking for months. Buckets are placed throughout the gym, but water still drips while people are working out. This isnt just an inconvenience, its a serious hazard. A leaking roof for this long poses safety risks, especially around gym equipment and electrical systems, and its shocking that it hasnt been fixed.The elevator has also been out of service for what feels like forever. I have medical conditions, and climbing the stairs can be painful and exhausting. Some days, its nearly impossible. A fitness center should be accessible to everyone, and right now, this one is not.The massage chairs are constantly leaking and overheating as well. As a Black Card member, I rely on those for pain relief before and after workouts. Its upsetting to pay extra for benefits that are broken or unsafe to use.This location has so much potential, and I genuinely want to keep coming here. But these problems have gone unaddressed for far too long. Its time for management to take this seriously and make the repairs that shouldve been handled months ago.

  Where do I begin? For starters, the summer season has become absolutely intolerable due to the summer high school pass. This allows minors to access the gym for free, where they misuse the equipment and treat PF as a hangout. The facility does not have working air conditioning, especially during the summer months. Moreover, its become hazardous and unsanitary. Recently, the maintenance has been nonexistent. Most machines are out of order. There are bicycles with Out of Order signs for months, and it continues to grow. Today, i literally had to use a machine as it was without it being powered on. A staff member informed me that members are canceling their membership for this reason. What are we paying a membership for? This facility needs to shape up or close instead of robbing people of their time and money!

  Horrible service at the ************** location at ********************************************** employee named **** followed me to the bathroom after I checked in and waiting of me to come out to say I have been banned. I have never been banned, I had an argument with one of the employees namers **** a few months back which we made up within 2 mins and I was still able to work out that day nobody banned me and I have been coming to the same location up until today 9/11/24. She was very rude and I felt like she was discriminating due to the fact that i'm black/white and had a hair cover on. I was then approached and attacked by another man who was working out who smacked my phone out my hands because I was recording. I called the cops and made a complaint because they said I was banned but I never was. I would like this employee Shae terminated and I want my membership fees for the past year refunded to me or I will continue to reach out and make a complaint until she is. I have been a black card member for over a year now and I have never felt this way.

  The employees at different planet fitness locations refused to accept my membership fee payment in cash on multiple occasions.After my cash payments were refused by planet fitness employees, the fitness club decided to charge my account an extra fee because my payment was late.If this planet fitness business had wanted my membership payment enough to charge a late fee to my account, then why did the planet fitness employees decide to refuse to accept my cash for that payment when I repeatedly attempted to settle that bill?This dishonest business practice must be corrected ************** money does not belong to these business owners just because the employees devised a convoluted plan to justifu charging my account with extra fees.

  We need a class action lawsuit for the Planet Fitness business malpractice. I am willing to speak and pay for a consolidation fee for a potential lawsuit against PF. Cancelling in person is not possible because I live in a different state. I requested over the phone and email, which I am waiting for a reply still. I have contact my bank and was told to wait several business days for them to cancel hoping this will resolve soon. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR CHEAP MONTHLY PRICE. The business can afford it to customers whom forgot to cancel and are not willing to fight back on this malpractice.

  I had to go there in person to cancel, but signing was done in seconds on an app. I was charged two months because no one would cancel over the phone. App or email. It should be easy to cancel as it it easy to sign up.

  I have been trying to cancel my membership for years r because it has become difficult to change locations. They have been charging me $10 every month. I was told that I need to go in person to cancel. How is that possible if I don't live there. I haven't been to that location since 2019 and have been trying to cancel since 2021. When I moved I decided to go to ********** location to attempt something even though I went online multiple times trying to change clubs. I finally made it to ****** a few months back and they told me that my membership to their location has been canceled since November 2023. But was told someone would contact me to explain why I'm still being charged because they can't cancel it. Seriously. I procrastinated even longer and thought let me try joining again at another location. I noticed they are still charging me. I reset my password went on line and was asked for my pass number. Entered numbers but account can not be found. But I have online and app access? I can log in online and through the app. But I can't log on as a member. My pass is not good. I have to pay more to choose a location but I'm still being charged. I want my money back for the years of torture trying to cancel this account.

  TODAY I WAS ASSAULTED BY A BUNCH OF TEENAGERS WHO GANGED UP AGAINST ME BECAUSE I WAS USING A BENCH NOBODY WAS ON. THIS HAS BECOME A VERY BAD PLACE. PEOPLE OVER 50 STAY AWAY!!!!!!! THE TEENAGERS WORKING THERE PUT THE SO CALLED "MUSIC" WHICH IS JUST RAP VERY LOUD SO ALL THE BEATS AND DRUMS AND COMPUTER NOISE IS OVER 87 DECIBELS. IT'S TOO LOUD TO FIND PEACE AND IT'S NOT MUSIC. OLDER PEOPLE DO NOT RECOGNIZE THIS AS MUSIC. IT'S JUST NOISE. THE POLICY IS NO CELL PHONE INSIDE, BUT EVERYONE HAS A CELL PHONE THAT THEY USE ON SPEAKERPHONE TO TALK TO FRIENDS FOR HOURS. THEY ALL YELL.YOU CAN'T FIND PEACE AND QUIET . CELL PHONES SHOULD NOT BE USED IN THE **** There are rules, but no one follows them. They write that the machines cannot be monopolized by one person for a long time, but since there are mostly young males, they do whatever they want. I come to the gym to exercise and do some yoga and find peace, NOT TO GET HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.TOO BAD, I LIKE THE **** IS WELL TAKEN CARE OF, CLEAN, AIR-CONDITIONED, THE MACHINES ARE NEW AND I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE IT 5 STARS.
