Yesterday, May 7th, my 100lb Great Dane had an appointment to be groomed via their mobile van service. I booked the silver package & also added on the health bundle & deshedding. Altogether this includes nine services: a full bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, blow dry, dry brush out, gland expression, teeth brushing, paw balm, and removing undercoat and loose hair. It was $256.61 before tip. According to their website, a grooming appointment averages 1-3 hours, depending on pets size and selected services. From the time my dog went into the van to the time she was at my front door again was approximately 29 minutes TOTAL (we have cameras with time stamps to verify), for a 100 pound Great Dane to receive 9 different services. The groomer put in the app that he was there from 5:30-6:30, which wasnt true. When she was brought back to our door, she was very wet. Her paws and back looked visibly dirty. She wasnt blown out and didnt receive the dry brush or deshedding. Her teeth werent brushed and glands werent done. Her paws were very dirty as well which led us to believe she didnt get the paw balm either. We wiped her with two wipes right after and they were filthy. (Pictured.) The one service that was done (a full bath) was done poorly. I reached out to her usual groomer and they agreed- properly grooming & fulfilling all services on a 100lb dog in 29 minutes is unheard of.After reaching out they argued that all services were completed in 29 minutes. They credited $100 to my Groomit account but Id let them know I would not be using them again.

On April 16th 2025, I had an appointment for my dog to be groomed. Everything was paid in full before the appointment. After the appointment I gave the groomer a cash tip. After the appointment i noticed that there was an unauthorized charge to my bank account for $21.78. I contacted the company and they told me that it was a problem with their system. Being that i dont keep monies in that account, it caused my account to be overdrawn.

On 4/10 a groomer from Groomit arrived at my home late, then left me with a dog shaven down to his skin bleeding everywhere and only refunded 100/250. I have had him groomed at ******** for years every month and never once has he been matted. I closely demat him daily and the worst case scenario couldve been tangles near his collar that are easily brushed. Now my dog has been shaking for days and still seems to be in pain. I believe this was rushed service because the last appointment with the same person took 3 hours and he looked perfect. This was 1 hour and hes shaved to his skin. They up charged me a demat fee but there is no way he needed true dematting I have photos of him just before.

I booked a mobile grooming service for my two cats on 8/4/23 at 4:30 PM. Groomer showed up at 3:30 PM and began work on one of my cats. After about 5 minutes of him being in the groomer's care, the groomer knocked on my door and told me to come and get my cat out of his van because he had tried but couldn't get him himself. He didn't perform any services and labeled my cat as aggressive (which he wasn't, he was just scared - he had the spherical muzzle on) and said he was leaving. After collecting both of my pets and returning inside, I noticed the cat that the groomer had started on was bleeding from all 4 paws. Upon further inspection, several of his claws had been broken and were bleeding from the quicks. Imagine how hard the groomer must have been pulling and yanking on him in order for this to occur while he was clinging for safety and security on the shelf he had climbed up on? I attempted (several times via text, email, phone) to discuss the matter with their customer service who refused to provide video footage or refund me for the service that wasn't performed, and just stopped responding altogether. They do not care for their clients or pets at all. They're only goal is to charge you money and then ghost you if you raise any concern. Absolutely the worst company and customer service I have EVER dealt with.

I started by buying the Gold package, which, given the up-charge, ought to offer the best service and experience. That wasn't at all how it was for me. Even the "same day service" function that was listed was not available to me. Initially, I was able to get an appointment for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, which was the first time slot open but two days later than the day I originally booked. I choose to accept it and disregard the "same day service" (or even next day service) claim. After that, my designated groomer texted me at 9:30am to ask if she could postpone her arrival until **** or 1pm because she was experiencing trouble with her van and would not be able to make the 11am appointment. I received an additional text from the groomer at 12:30pm informing me that she needed to postpone AGAIN for the following day(Thursday, March 23 at Noon). I hesitantly agreed. I had spent the most of the day up to this point waiting around the house for her to arrive. Also at one point, she texted me to say she was headed to the appointment. In each of these scenarios (cancelling the day of, rescheduling the day of, and canceling once the "groomer was on the way"), I would have been subject to a penalty fee ranging from 50% to 70% under Groomit'scancellation/rescheduling policy. Yet they took no responsibility on their end.To make matters worse, when I contacted your customer service department, I was greeted by an unpleasant agent who didn't seem eager to assist me with my problem. They claimed the groomers are independent contractor and this was not their problem. They sent a substitute groomer who showed up at 2:30. (another day where I wasted hours housebound waiting for Groomit to show up - or not). I was charged $309 for this grooming service that took exactly one hour. They did not dry his fur. His cut was uneven and completely unprofessional. I had to pull out some hair strands that were still hanging on by a thread. Please refer to the accompanying images.

The business charged me twice while ** services were received. When alerted to the issue with screenshots from my bank statements clearly showing the charge, they stated they show no charge on their end and would do nothing further.

The business Groomit, as marketed "Groomit: ************************ Call Pet Grooming" online and throughout their website was contacted to provide services for our dog (mobile van pet grooming). We reached out to customer support as they had two major problems. (1) The groomer had our dog inside their van with the door wide open, no AC and it was 95 degrees outside and (2) they did an absolutely terrible job and left our dogs skin vulnerable. Contacted expecting some apology, potentially a discount. My concern is that customer service has stated and taken the approach that they are a "Third Party Broker" and have no control over groomers. They are falsely claiming services and misleading customers with their website. They are taking zero responsibility for the services provided through their business and essentially acting as if they have no control. I conducted business with Groomit, NOT the "3rd party contractor" that they had hired. This is misleading and inaccurate, as well as potentially damaging, not to mention the liability.
