The beginning of May, 2022 my central air conditioning system was not working correctly. The heating coil was staying on continuously. so I was worried that my home could catch on fire. so I called Ammerman Heating and Cooling and They came to my house to give me an estimate for repair. The technician told me he could fix it and it was worth fixing. They made two more visits and I paid them $1,079.80 total, and speaking on the phone with the technician Eric and the owner in the background present they agreed to fix my unit for that price and it still isn't working properly. The Air condition cooling is working good and because it's summer I don't need the heat so I didn't put any pressure on them that the heat wasn't working properly. I told them about that but the technician Eric kept making excuses not to come back and look at the problem. When I turn on the heat it runs for a few minutes and the circuit breaker trips off and the unit shuts down. The circuit breaker is owner accessible because the front cover pulls off to change the filter and the circuit breaker is next to the floor there. Today when I was changing the air filter I took a close look at the new circuit breaker they put in and I noticed it was a 30 amp breaker and I looked at the breaker they replaced because they left it behind and the one that they replaced was a 60 amp breaker. They put in the wrong part. Winter is coming close and my heater isn't working. I would like Ammerman to fix my unit or refund me. I feel I was taken advantage of. Can the Better Business please resolve this for me.
