    Ej came out on an emergency A/C call. He helped us determine the capacitor was bad and needed replaced on our ******* unit.Very professional and educated us on what to look out for in the future.We appreciate the quick response in getting our unit back up and running!!

    I would not recommend Ammerman Heating & Cooling! The other reviews of poor integrity and dishonest work, was my experience as well. I paid *** Ammerman, DBA.. Ammerman Heating & Cooling , ***************. In the price range of 8K, for a new HVAC , with a Durstar heat pump, The system worked for about 9 months, before failing. Poor quality of work, less than the truth to try and cover-up their mistakes, no integrity, no remorse for his actions. Anger and hostility if you question them ( Ammerman Heating & Cooling). Seem this is how this company does business .

    *********************** recieved a new replacement afyer a power surge took out her new unit. The liability should have been on her insurance company however after much effort and talking with distributor, I was able to get her a no cost replacement. Instead of getting just the part in question I got her an entire unit ( complete). I was even able to get a portion of the labor cost covered for her. We are really sorry she feels this way bit unfortunately in this world the best you can do for people is never enough. 42 years this business has strived to take care of our thousands of customers. Naturally only disgruntled people take the effort to try to defame when a simple conversation can go a long way.

    Not true! Power surge was a lame excuse! Verified by two other HVAC. (after ********************** Heating and Cooling diagnosis of the problem). Unbeknown to Mr. *********************** my background studies is Electrical Engineering, my late husband, certified in HVAC. Mr. ********************** did not come to my home an employee did. I was present when , the tech from ********************** Heating and cooling, examined the unit, he was at my home less then 30 minutes , I was with him during this time. My home has surge protection. No storms, nice day, unit shut down as usual, did not restart. The first excuse, was given, was the unit failed because I did not change my filters every month. I had my file for the new HVAC system, with the manufacture information in my hand, I showed the tech. the correct information of every 90 days, he seemed insulted that I questioned his information. Next he told me , it was because I had a vent closed off in one of the rooms. ( he did not enter my home, to check anything) My response was, I should be able to close a vent without damage. That's when he decided it was a power surge. When we contacted the distributor and DuraStar (manufacture, because there is a 10 year warranty for defects, not power surges) they replaced the unit, not Ammerman Heating & Cooling. The distributor provided me with area HVAC companies, to provide warranty work. I paid for install. To address Mr. **********************'s other comments; I am not a disgruntled customer! But I would not recommend his company. Nor am I trying to "defame" his company. Am I happy with his company ? NO! I do agree with Mr. *** ********************** , that a simple conversation, should have taken care of the issue. I'm sorry he could not provide that conversation! I did make several phone calls to his answering service, ( third party that was assisting, made calls as well ) so I did try to communicate with Mr. *** **********************. Many of the calls to his answering service were not returned. However when he did call back , he was angry, told me, I "yelled" his employee, ( explained that I did not yell, at his employee but I did correct him on misinformation. That on the day his employee was at my home it was a very simple conversation in a normal tone, Mr. ********************** then ,tried to give me the same excuse about changing the filter every month, when I questioned him, in regards to manufacture guide lines ( every 90 days, which, was done, no dirty filter) , the surge protection or the fact that I was there and witnessed what the employee had done. Mr. ********************** statement was "S***t happens and B****** die" ( yeah, he was on speaker phone so more than two people can verify) he then said he had another call coming in and would call me back, hung up immediately and never called me back. After a comment like that I can understand why! A 42 year old company, at risk due to current day practices and management!
