    I am due my security deposit and have not received it yet. I moved out at the end of September and don't have it yet. I was sent a statement confirming I am due my deposit. I left 2 messages with the management company and not call back. There is no reason I don;t have it yet since it has been the end of september I moved out,

    I am filing a complaint regarding a persistent lack of hot water in my apartment, which has been ongoing for several months. As a tenant, I have been unable to take proper showers in my home due to this issue. My first maintenance request was submitted on September 10, 2024, and despite multiple follow-ups, the problem has yet to be resolved as of October 15, 2024.

    Initially, maintenance workers came to inspect the issue and informed me that the property required a new hot water heater. However, despite their visit, the problem persisted. Since then, I have submitted several additional maintenance tickets. Unfortunately, each of these tickets has been closed without any action being taken to actually resolve the lack of hot water.

    It has now been over a month since my first complaint, and the issue continues to disrupt my daily life. I am seeking immediate action to address and resolve the lack of hot water in my apartment, as well as an explanation as to why the previous tickets were closed without any resolution.

    During my lease at The Vantage, I had many issues including but not limited to an illegal entry by maintenance, malfunctioning A/C for three weeks, and non-working outlets in my kitchen. Due to these issues, The Vantage agreed to refund half of my June rent. The property manager refused to return the money until after move out, when the check was to be mailed to me.

    A portion of the refunded rent was used to pay the rent from July 1, 2024-July 9, 2024 (my move-out date). I was sent a remaining account balance on July 16, 2024 and followed up with management to see when I would receive my check. Rather than responding to my emails, management sent me a new final statement with additional charges in the exact amount I was to be refunded.

    I am only asking for a return of my $328.09.

    I am a renter of this establishment. In May one of the maintenance workers removed my front closet door for repair and never replaced it. This is the front closet at the entrance of my unit and for 2 months it has been missing. I have reached out multiple times in person, writing and phone without any resolution.
    Since June I have been without air condition. At one point amid a heat wave, it became so hot and humid inside my unit , that one of my kitchen drawers which is plastic snapped on one side. The drawer had condensation on it. This happened in June and it is still not repaired. I have requested multiple updates on the status of the AC unit. I pay rent and expect that all things and amenities should be in reasonable working order. I have asked the property and regional managers multiple times for updates and have not even received a return call or email for an entire month. I had to purchase a temporary AC unit at their recommendation because the property has exhausted their units. I have a 2 bedroom and I am only able to cool 1 area in my unit for myself and my daughter. This has also impacted my ability to use my oven due to the extreme heat from the summer and no circulation in my unit. There aren’t even windows or vents in the bathrooms. I have asked to escalate to the next in charge and contacted the corporate offices with no resolution or response.

    I lived in the Vantage apartment for years. and my lease ended on August 2023. I have remaining balance on my deposit after their inspection. 148 USD. however, the check was expired when I receive it at my new address. so I contacted the phone number on the check and they said office needs to reissue me a new check. But I haven't received the check after almost A YEAR!!! I called the office many many times and no useful action from their end at all. they keep pushing me to different numbers and no one can actually issue the check for me. this is very disappointing experience. I need my money back ASAP. thanks. please note: I don't live at the previous address where office initially sent the check to anymore. Now I moved to another new place. So please contact me through BBB for my recent new address and issue the check accordingly. Don't send it to the previous address in your record.

    I lease an apartment at the Vantage and the air conditioner in the apartment is broken since last year, dispute multiple request they still didn’t get it fixed. The temperature is hiking to more than 100 degree this week and they still don’t have a schedule to repair it.

    Been a year trying to contact office manager and cooperate in regards to refund of deposit. Office manager is never there and when she is there she is on the phone and reception says call back in 30 minutes or I will have her call you back. never speak to her. Took a next level up to main head quarters, There they have someone screen and say "sent them an email they will call". They say they not allowed to give that number out, of course no call back. Can provide a list of attempts through cell phone records. Please help

    I rented from this apartment complex as it seemed to be nice, with the promise from management of a new pool, workout room, and newly renovated apartment. The apartment complex never did any of this and the pool was never even open and filled with water to use. We never received a new workout room. And lastly, my move in date was actually pushed back from when it was supposed to be because they were “renovating my apartment with new appliances, floors, etc.”. However when I moved in all appliances were old, some even broken such as the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. The apartment had clearly never even been cleaned from the previous user as things as simple as spilt coffee stains from coffee mugs were still on the countertops and in the cabinets. This was not even the worst part about everything. I never received any type of welcome paperwork stating what I had to do regarding setting up electric and monthly rent payments. Not to mention I received an eviction notice within the first 2 weeks of renting my apartment because the leasing office never told me the correct amount I had to pay them on move in day. Then, throughout my stay, there were stains which were never even cleaned on the carpets in the hallways. Multiple break ins to peoples cars and the apartment complex even stealing furniture from inside the apartment buildings. This was claimed to never be caught because they did not have working security cameras. Then lastly, I moved out of the complex in late May. It is now approaching late September and I still have yet to receive my security deposit back. I never did anything wrong for them to keep it and I even have emails proving I was getting it back. However, still nearly 4 months later and I still do not have it. The management team will not even answer my phone calls or my emails anymore surrounding the matter. It has been nearly a month since they stopped responding to me after stating they had the wrong address written down and will reissue

    I moved in the Vantage apartment in August 2022, and I was charged $200 ( $50 application fee and $150 management fee) . I was told by my agent Brianah that $150 is refundable. Now I have moved out on 30 July. I have not got my refund because the Vantage staff Ashley told me that Brianah does not work for them and there is no written statement. I choose to trust her and the company so that I didn’t ask for a statement when I moved in. And it is not fair for me either!
    Another charge is the carpet cleaning fee$125. I myself cleaned it, how can I prove it and give them a receipt?
    I want to ask for a refund of $275. Thanks!

    Those fee's are not nor have the ever been refundable. As much as I would love to refund him the $275.00 I simply cannot. $150  is what we charge to run our credit and background checks at move in's. He let me know that someone who was previously employed by us stated at the time of move in that it was refundable. I let him know that has never been the case however if he had something in writing from her for example. a letter, an email. Anything that provided proof that, that is what he was told. Even if it was the wrong information, that I would refund him the money. He said that he did not have that information in writing. Without that information I cannot take his word for it. In addition it is on the notice to vacate that is signed at move out that you must provide a carpet cleaning receipt. We will not be refunding the applicant anything else additionally. Please see the attached notice to vacate that says you are required to clean your carpets and provide a receipt and please see the signed online application that says it is not refundable.
