On March 7th, 2023, I was approved for a $440 payment for my ****** **. The **** tracking number showed it was received on March 10, 2023. It took them until March 21, 2023, to inspect the phone and was told the payment would be made in 7 business days.
"Your payment will be processed within 7 business days. You will receive another email once your payment has been issued."
At the time of writing this, it's been another 13 days.Business Response

A reCell email said the check was mailed on April 5, 2023, with an email stating I should receive the check within 7 business days. If it was sent ****, it's been 10 business days. I SOLD my ****** ** pro to recell.io on 2/13/2023 with a printed contract and guarantee that upon inspection of the device by recell that they would issue a check for payment of device to me. I have tried for a month to email and call customer support. I'm done being patient, this is a gross misrepresentation online and the company should be investigated for fraud and theft.Business Response

We are very sorry for the delay on payment. We were unaware that you did not receive your check until we received your BBB complaint in our email(03/17/2023). We checked our email history and noticed we have not received any emails from you in regards to not receiving your payment. We have forwarded Your order info to our payments department as well as admin to be handled. If we send a check today it is possible for it to take 7-10 business days to arrive to you. We wanted to offer you a PDF for mobile deposit which can be printed off and mobile deposited if you have mobile banking. We can have your PDF sent to you by the end of the day and you can do mobile deposit immediately. Would you be interested in receiving the PDF for mobile deposit? Sent Recell.io phone for trade-in payment on 2/6/23. Package was received on 2/9/23 and there was a revised offer, which I accepted on 2/9/23. In return, I am expecting check payment of $630 total ($620 plus $10 bonus for fast shipping to Recell.io). I have sent a message, but have not received a response. I have also just left a voice-mail message.

I sent my ****** to recell.io in an attempt to sell my ****** ** **** 128gb for cash payment. The item was to be purchased for $600 and I agreed and sent the ****** as well as the ***** ****** box with the unused charging cord. The ****** had been inspected by the ***** ***** 2 days prior and had no damage, however I decided rather than receive ***** ***** credit, that I would prefer to receive a cash payout from another source. Upon receiving my ****** recell.io contacted me 2/24/2023 and claimed some kind of screen damage, with a description I had never heard of before. They offered a reduced price of $560 for the ******, and I decided that it was acceptable as I had already sent the ****** and it was only a $40 dollar difference. I accepted the offer that day 2/24/2023 and have provided the ****** account information to receive payment. I have not received payment, and out of concern contacted them 2 times through voicemail, and 1 time through email contact through their website. They claim to be a faith based organization , and the advertised claim “ We are a faith-based organization that is passionate about giving and growing the body of Christ”! I find this to be very deceptive, as it led me to trust this company! I would also say that upon looking up customer reviews, their are many deceptive reviews placed by others saying that this company provides customer support that they do not, as their is no customer support. I want to know if their government authorities who can be contacted in ******* OH regarding this business, as they use the **** to receive items and then do not continue any other form of contact upon receipt of the items. This ****** was purchased in 2022 less that a year ago, and can be identified by its serial number and IMEI number on the ****** itself.Business Response

The tracking number is provided in the pictures. I sent my phone to recell.io a few weeks ago. They responded with a requote of the original price they offered. I accepted that within the window of time they provided. It says on my page that I accepted the requote and they promise for the ****** payment to be sent within a week. After a week passed, I sent them and email and called them. I have received no response and no correspondence. I believe this is a scam and the only way I can see this being resolved is if the seller provides their end of the deal, which is the 260$ promised as payment.Business Response

I sent my ****** to ReCell.io as was advertised online and they offered to pay for my phone. They offered to pay $450 and I accepted the offer. The phone was sent via **** on January 18th and I recieved a confirmation email that my package was recieved on January 23rd. I tried to send multiple messages to the company inquiring about when the payment would be made and they sent me one email back and have not responded since. They have a tracking service online and it has not changed in over a week and they have not communicated with me or answered there phone upon multiple attempts to call them during business hours. The business has made no attempt to resovle the problem with me and has refused to communicate. I would like the payment to be made or the product to be returned to me. I have sent a phone in perfect condition to them for sale and they have quoted me $655. On their website it clearly says that payment will be received 7 days after they receive the item. I have a shipment tracking telling me that they have received the item on the 19th January and an automated email confirming so. I have tried to contact them and left several voicemails and send numerous emails for an update with no avail. I would either like to receive payment for my device or my device returned in the same condition I sent it in. I have documented the condition of my device prior to shipment and shipped with great care as to not damage the device, I would not like to hear them change their quote as many people have pointed out in the google reviews.Business Response
