BBB has also received complaints and customer reviews stating that the consumer was quoted a specific amount they would be paid for their cell phone, but after they send it in, the company states they are going to pay them less due to the poor condition of the phone (scratches, cracked screen etc.)

      Wanted to sell my mint ****** **, they quoted me $370 plus a $10 bonus if I sent the device ASAP as they were “low on inventory”. I did as they asked, and that November 9th. Its already December 6th and still nothing. Every time I call, this person named Ariel answers the phone and says he’s relayed my request to the “payment department”, and that I’ll receive my payment in “24 business hours”. Still nothing. Pathetic people.

      Hello,
         Customer filed complaint in regards to not receiving payment on 12/7/2022. After researching our records this payment has been confirmed as made as of 12/8/2022. As per his request via email on 12/07/2022, as promised in the attached, forwarded email thread. We have also attached a screen shot of the order details that show this payment was made.       11/15/2022 - I sent Recell my phone for which I was offered $300
      11/18/2022 - They received my phone its now been 10 days and they don’t respond to emails or answer calls

      I just want my payment to be made.

      ReCell.io provides the following statement on their website (******************************************************):

      How long does it take to receive payment once I ship my item?
      Payments are made within seven (7) business days.

      On 11/7/22, via email, ReCell.io acknowledged receipt of the ***** ****** ** *** Unlocked 128gb sent to them by me. Since then, I have tried two times by email and once by phone to find out why my payment has not been received. I have received no acknowledgment of my inquiries and as of 11/25/22, no payment has been received. The order status portal was updated only after I left a phone message threatening to contact the BBB, and the status was only changed to "passed inspection." Absolutely no information on when I will receive my extremely overdue payment.

      On October 13th and 18th I mailed two ****** ** *** to the Company Recell. Each were valued at 565.00. The company indicated both were received and payment was issued. I have not received payment. I sent in an email help request and I called the phone number and left a message but have received no response.

      I sent in my IPhone 7 Plus with promise of $71.50 in return for it. It was confirmed received 10/24/22. They then said there was damage - there wasn’t. They offered $40 for it and I accepted as I have already been through enough with it. They will pay you “within 7 days”, not the case at all. No payment had been given. It is now 11/7/22 and I have asked where payment is with no response from them.

      I have sent the company my phone for a trade for cash compensation. They promised me a check for the phone. It has been over two weeks and have not received any type of contact or check for my device. After viewing multiple sites and reviews it’s come to my knowledge that this site is scamming people out of money. I’d like some type of resolution. Either the check for my device or the return of my device.

      I sent an iPhone to the company on 10/20/22. They gave me a price and I accepted. I’m still waiting for the payment. When I email them and ask when I’ll receive my payment I get an automated response telling me that my request will be sent to the management team. I’m thinking after reading the reviews that I’ll never get paid. I requested my phone back if they can’t pay me but I haven’t gotten a response

      On 10/27/2022 customer service received an email from the customer requesting an update on payment. Customer was responded to the same day informing them that due to volume, our payments are currently processing within 7 business days.  At this time, this order was at business day # 2. The customer was informed of payment process multiple times between 10/27/2022 until payment was made. This payment was made on the 7th business day (11/03/22) via ******.  ( Please see Attachment.)       I sent my phone to the company as I was given a quote and has not heard back from them. I have reached out to them and they have not responded. Others online have reported similar experiences and say it’s a scam. Please help.

       This order was placed on 10/10/22; However, the device was not shipped out until 10/19/2022. On 10/28/2022 customer service received an email from the customer requesting an update on payment. Customer was responded to by email the same day advising them that due to an increase in volume of devices we are receiving; our orders are currently processing within 7 business days and we are working to have this updated on our website.Customer was also informed that we were going to forward their order to ADMIN to speed up their payment. We also offered to change payment method to ****** as well as cover any ****** fees. Customer provided ****** information.       ReCell.io agreed to purchase my Mint Condition ****** ** *** *** for $665. One month after sending my device to ReCell.io and I still haven't received any payment.

      My phone was sent to ReCell on 9/28/22, they received it 9/30/22 and took 10 days to mark it as "passed inspection" on 10/10/22.

      Their website says payments will be made within 7 business days of sending in a device. Their e-mail to me when my phone passed inspection said I would be paid within 1-3 days.

      It has now been 14 days since my phone passed inspection (and 26 days since mailing them my device) and the company has not issued the $665 payment owed to me. The only e-mail I received back from the company said my concern was being escalated to "management," but I have heard nothing since then and subsequent contact from me has been ignored by ReCell.io.

      The company no longer responds to my e-mail requests for either my payment or to return my device.

      Last week, I sold recell 3 phones. I was expecting payment of $1,345 in about 3-4 business days. It has now been 8 business days and I have not received payment, and they have stopped responding to my emails and calls.

        On 9/30/2022 customer service received an email from the customer requesting to place an order for 3 devices. Customers informing was sent to admin to place the bulk order.  At this time, we have no history in email of any contact other than the request to place the order and new order information. This payment was made on 10/14/22
