      Very nice store! The staff makes you feel welcomed. Playing music, balloons, and it is a party with the animals. The Athens location does a lot with their community and believe me it does not go unnoticed by our community! Sally has been around for a long time & it shows from her and her staff. Thank you for all you do!

      Fantastic! I recently got my weenie pup from Athens, and the store manager Jarred was incredibly informative and helpful. He walked me through all the steps and papers and I feel incredibly confident taking home my puppy. Thank you!!

      Got our beautiful shih tzu here over two years ago. Chewy is the best pup we could have ever asked for. Healthy and lovable and a member of our family, thank you Petland.

      A couple months ago I had made a visit to the Pickerington petland location. Me and my boyfriend were looking at all the different German shepherds that had. We had finally found a girl that we loved. We’re ended up taking to one of the employees about a credit card. She had me fill out the application and began to tell me I was approved. I told her that I wasn’t going to be purchasing the dog today that I needed some time to think about it and that I would come back the following day to pick up the puppy if I was interested and buying her. She told me that she could put a hold on the puppy for us, she had explained that there would be a hold charge put on my credit card and that I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket for the gold if I decided not to purchase their puppy. She also had explained she would need to ask her manager if she was even able to put a hold on the puppy. I remembered reading the agreement while filling out the credit card application and no where did it mention anything about a deposit or a hold fee. The next day I had notified petland that I would not be returning and even asked a second time if I would need to pay for that hold if I did not return for the puppy.l, she told me no again. About 3 weeks goes by and I am receiving a bill in the mail for $537. I was shocked so I called petlands corporate office and spoke to a guy, he proceeded to tell me how sorry he was and how he would put a dispute in for me. He then told me that petland isn’t even allowed to put holds on dogs. Now I am forced to pay over $500 for a puppy that I didn’t even purchase. I will never be returning to petland again. I have been going there for years and I have never had an experience like this. I keep receive things in the mail from there bank saying that are denying my application but then two days later I receive a letter saying I was approved. This business needs to get employees in order, I have been told many different things by many people.

      I purchased my Yorkie Terrier February 2023 which was price for ***** dollars which I'm paying off through a financial company. I received a call on April 15, 2023 about me having late fees on my Petland Credit Card which I never knew anything about. The sales man never told me about signing up for a Credit Card ( Scam) this company is really a big SCAM. Why would I pay double for my puppy when I'm already paying off my puppy through the financial company. I was told I only have to pay monthly until the ***** is paid off. Now they want me to pay on a Credit Card I had no idea about. Also my puppy not in good health he have extra teeth which I have to come out of pocket to get removed. I was told my puppy was healthy and they take the pets to the vet lies. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO PURCHASE THROUGH THIS COMPANY.

      Hello, I bought a dog from the Grove City Petland on Sunday 12/11/22 at 5:30pm. When we got to the store we held a few dogs but was highly interested in the English Mastiff female puppy. We were told that she was on rest the rest of the day because she has been out of the cage most of the day being played with. I filled out the application and when it was approved the store associate ***** asked me which one i was taking home. I proceeded to ask how long the approval was from and I would come back when the English Mastiff was able to be played with. She said well if you want her I will go ahead and bring her out and if you take her home today I will give you an extra 100 off. When we were seeing her, we asked numerous times why her breathing was shallow and she was breathing to fast. We were told she was nervous. So we decided to bring her home. By the time we made it home she puked 3 times and when we got home had diarrhea. Her breathing got much worse over night and by 8:30AM we were at the vet and were being told that she would have to stay atleast 5 days because she had pneumonia and needed IV fluids and antibiotics. Come to find out her weight was only 12.8 lbs and she is 13 weeks old. She should be atleast 30lbs. She is severely underweight. I go to register her today 12/13/2022 with AKC and I am being told that she is unable to be registered because she is registered through canine partners and she is a mixed breed. I was never informed that she was a mixed breed and I was told she could be registered through AKC. First, I am sold a sick dog, second I am lied to about the breed of the dog. First time I called Petland on 12/12/2022 I was told the manager wasnt in, I proceeded to say I would hold and then he all of sudden just walked through their door. I called again today 12/13/2022 over the breed issue and again were told he was not in the store.

      I am a Local that always is in there getting all my reptiles food needs .they are always very nice and usually always helpful. Even on Sunday they all have Smile's.what a wonderful place to visit for any pet needs ,or to just stop in and check them out .I rate them at a 100% top best place to go when it comes to all pets needs!
