This product absolutely does not work. Used in the past and never worked. Didn't have tape so I tried to glue an envelope shut just this morning and it didn't work, no exaggerating. A paper envelope and it didn't stick.

The Gorilla Glue Company manufactures many types of adhesives and each glue type has its specific characteristics and materials it can be used on.  Not all glue will stick on a paper envelope.

Please contact us at **************, and we will be happy to assist in guiding you to the correct adhesive to use for any project.

I don't usually complain products but the double sided mounting tape was expensive and when I complained and explained i used a whole roll on a product and it still didn't work. they came back with all sorts of reasons and wouldn't even give me another roll of tape or a refund. So pitiful. The plaque was approx 7x7 inches light wood, taped the entire back and put on a painted wall in the bedroom....it fell off 3 times. Answers from Drew at customer service are below. We understand your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to assist you further with our Gorilla Mounting Tape. When using our Gorilla Mounting Tape, we recommend applying the tape vertically to the object. As well as applying 4 inches of tape per pound of weight. In regard to the surfaces the tape was used on, our Mounting Tape has been tested for use on wood. However, it has not been tested for use on drywall surfaces. Therefore, when using the tape on drywall surfaces this would be considered a trial-and-error application. Since that material is not something that the tape has been specifically tested for use on. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know. We are sorry to hear of your experience with our Gorilla Mounting Tape. In order to get a clearer understanding of what has happened, please reply with the following: What materials were both surfaces of your project? WOOD AND DRYWALL Were the project surfaces flat? FLAT AND FLAT Was the tape applied to the object only? TWO SIDED TAPE APPLIED TO OBJECT w many inches of tape were applied to the surface? 28 INCHES..COMPLETELY COVERED What was the depth of the object being mounted? HALF INCH Approximately how much did the object weigh? 2LB What was the temperature of the substrates? 70 DEGREES When the tape failed, was the tape on the mounted object or surface? SOME ON THE SURFACE AND SOME ON THE OBJECT
