      My daughter paid $9.50 to clean a $99.95 dress on July 11, 2023. At the time she dropped it off, she told them about one spot on the dress. Not only could they not remove the stain, but the dress now has eight spots on the dress. She noticed this when opening it. At the time, the store was named ********** Dry Cleaning. They put a note on the hangar, but did not tell her they had damaged it further at the time she picked it up. When I went into the store yesterday (August 14), I first clarified it was the same company. The clerk indicated yes. I asked they either reclean the dress, pay for the dress or some other compensation for their ruining the dress further. Not only did she decline to do any, she would not provide a manger's contact information for me to speak to that person directly.

      This is unacceptable business practices. My daughter has just started a new job in ********** **. The best settlement is to appropriately clean the dress. If unable to do this, after one wearing, I believe the company should pay for the dress.

      Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention.  We apologize for this unfortunate situation.

      Even though there is no 100% guarantee spot removal from any garment, we will reimburse you for the cost of the dress.  Thank you for providing the dress cost details.  I will mail a reimbursement check to the address provided in tomorrow's mail.  You should receive it next week via regular mail.
