      Lived here for two years and had problems with hot water. Conveniently the office is never open. The most recent time we had no hot water was for 1 week!!! Now we are again without hot water and the office will be closed for a week. Most residents here have children and some are elderly. I would like to know if PLK will reimburse us for the electric we're using to heat up water several times a day?? Or will rent be lowered?? This is very ridiculous and I'm seeking further actions to resolve this ongoing issue that PLK has no worries about.

      Been living here almost a full 2 years now.My car was stolen out of the complex last month, my ***************** who also lived there had his golf clubs stolen out of his car.. needless to say they have a history for break-ins and robberys. Mostly due to the fact there is NOT ONE WORKING CAMERA on site.When my car was stolen I asked for my safety and my daughters safety I would like my lock to be changed and they told me Id have to pay out of pocket(goes to show you they really put your safety first)They claim they have ******** Country Sheriffs deputies patrol the complex at night but in the near two years Ive lived here Ive only seen them maybe 6 times.They like to claim they have a laundry room in the apartment; but the laundry machines take money if you use card sometimes doesnt even work. If they do work they destroy your clothes I have a claim that proves it There was also multiple drug deals in my building that I showed to the manager *********************** and ******************* who refused to do anything about it, tried telling them I dont care if my neighbors smoke, but the dealings should stop, all it takes is one miscommunication before something extreme happens And more recently since Ive been persistent with them I see them charging me an additional $50 to my rent because Im not insured Ive been insured and have told them that multiple times via email and voicemail.Needless to say if you want a safe and reliable place for a family, this is not it.

      *****,Our sincere apologies for the delay in this response. We do our best to work hand in hand with the local police departments as necessary. We have not communicated to any resident that we have camera systems anywhere on the property. We do know that crime happens everywhere. It isn't selective. Had we received your insurance documentation we would gladly have accepted it so that you could stay current in our system. We do hope that you are doing well in your new home.

      This rental company gave 50 day notice to not renew a lease with no reason or cause that didn't even cover until the full month. While rent was prorated going out, the jeopardy is that other properties may not.have properties available to time it with such a short notice from PLK. Now you will have a family homeless for no reason. Also it's awful that ******** called the current tenant to get a forwarding address for the new tenant. Also it was said that if we don't move then the rest of the months rent would be charged. If that was the case then a month to month should have been offered. Also the manager should have returned our calls. BAD BUSINESS for hard working family.

      Where do I start. We toured a nice property but when we moved in the place was horrible. Screen door had holes in it, dishwasher moldy, no screens on the windows, and tub was peeling. After living here our car was towed illegally ( no tag on car saying it would be towed) went and got the car and it was towed several months later and the rental office said it was nothing they could do and it wasnt in their hands. I asked for the reasoning they said my tags were expired ( my tags have never been expired) and flat tire and the towing company said they dont have to tag the car they can just tow it. As a complex they are just letting random people tow our cars?!??Lastly after coming back from our honeymoon we had a note on our door saying we have a month to move out due to non-renewal and no one in the rental office can give me an answer. She told me its not about rent the people from higher up just want the property back I asked if we would move into another complex she said no. SO BASICALLY YOU ARE KICKING ME OUT. She said I wouldnt call it that. Smh. Now we are being forced to leave with nowhere to go because either every place is filled within my daughters school district or is extremely high in price. Im so frustrated with this place. I talked with my neighbors and they feel the same way.

      Jazmyne,We're sorry to see this review come through. We never want to see a resident leave with an unfavorable impression about our team. We regret that you had issues at move-in and we did make repairs as soon as we were made aware of them. We do our best to make every move-in the best it can be. We did miss the **** this time. We do feel that we communicated adequately about the parking lot repairs and the towing occurred after multiple notifications that all vehicles needed to be moved. Our policies are applied equally and all residents are expected to abide by the terms of the lease agreement.       Respectfully whoever is responding you weren't the office manager when my car got towed. So for you to lie and say it was due to parking lot repairs is outrageous. That's probably what your employees wrote down to avoid conflict but we have saved every piece of paper this complex has put on our door. My car got towed because the company you have to tow people just comes by the lot and tows people's car illegally! Our neighbors went thru the same thing!! Catie cant do anything because she is the third office manager in the 2 years we've lived here and it wouldnt be fair to go off on a lady who knows nothing. Dont move here! They just want your money and then they kick you out
