    On November 19, 2023 I picked up my son's car for Kufner Towing. The vehicle was in Kufner's tow yard and upon being taken to the vehicle by the attendant, I noticed the back window of the car was completely shattered and it appeared that someone attempted to steal the glass and was unsuccessful. I immediately showed the attendant and he began taking pictures as did I. I have several pictures of the glass, as well as pictures of the car on Kufner's property. I inquired about completing a damage report and next steps. I was told to call Rob who apparently handles damage claims the next day if I hadn't heard from him in the morning. I did not receive a call from Rob so I called Kufner. The person who answered the phone said Rob was on vacation all week and that he was standing in for Rob. When I gave him my name and started to explain the reason for my call, I was immediately placed on hold. Another person picked up the call shortly after and said he would send Rob an email. We still haven't heard anything. I have several pictures and it is clear the damage occurred while in Kufner's possession. We'd like to be reimbursed fully for the damaged glass and associated costs for replacing the glass. In addition to the damage to the vehicle, a number of employees at Kufner were extremely unprofessional and making false statements in an attempt to procure more money. I am happy to also share those details as well if needed.

    On 4/22/2023, called for a tow from my home to ******'s on Lorain (1 mile). Driver arrived at 12:30 pm (have his call on my phone, documenting time). When I picked up my truck from ******'s, they informed me the bumper was damaged (roommate has pictures on phone). I called Kufner, explained that my bumper was damaged. The person answering the phone said she would call the driver, who said it was damaged when he picked up and he has a picture to prove it. I told the person on the phone that it was not damaged before the tow, that I was out there when it was picked up, and he said nothing about damage before taking it. She said the manager, Rob G************ would call me Monday morning. He never did. I called them on 4/28/2023 to ask that they reimburse me some of the $100 I paid for the tow to offset getting the bumper fixed. The man on the phone said the driver denied damaging my truck and had a picture to prove it. I asked what the time stamp on the photo is, and he replied 12:45 pm, which clearly proves the picture he took when he picked up my truck was deleted and replaced by one he took when he dropped the truck at ******'s. He arrived at my home at 12:30. He was gone with my truck in like 5 minutes, so the photo was taken after the tow, not before. The man on the phone just repeated, "well, its not towing damage", so they refuse to compensate me for the damage. I selected refund from the Desired Resolution drop down, but am requesting a partial refund, not the entire $100 that I paid.
