I **** was one of the passengers on the Limo bus on January 4th 2024. We had no heat for the entire ride from Cleveland to Akron which took 60 minutes. The bus was very unsafe, the windows were forged, the floors were wet and slippery from the ice. I felt very unsafe and scared for my life. I even got sick as of this. A bus was secured from VIP for Jan. 4, 2025. The bus had no heat in the bus where the passengers were seated. The temp. was 20° outside and inside the bus. We are senior citizens! The water on floor was partially ice and dangerous.Initial Complaint

I'm 70 years old, and was invited to an event with some friends. It was Saturday 4, 2025. The time was 5:00pm. The temperature in Cleveland was 20°. We had rode for an hour. There was no heat!!! We were freezing!! The windows was fogging, the driver was in an inclosed compartment. She had heat!! My fingers and toes were tingling. I had on gloves and socks. The floors had ice on them. On January 4, 2025, I boarded the Limousine Party Bus provided by VIP Ride (**** * **** *** ********** **). Myself with 20 other passengers were picked up from ********* Shopping Center in ***** Hts, OH and we were escorted to ********** Lounge located in *****, Ohio. As a result of traveling a 45 minute ride to and 45 minute ride from our destination with no heat on the bus with 19 degree temperature, my hands and feet were experiencing beginning frost bite. I literally was blowing smoke from my mouth as I was shivering in the cold air. All of the other passengers were complaining about how cold they were. The driver was clueless as to how to get to our destination, as a result we were late. The windows were so fogged up that we couldn't see out of the windows which was a safety issue. The party lights weren't working properly, thus we were sitting in darkness. The driver literally ran up a curve causing panic amongst all passengers. The floor was wet and slippery causing me to almost fall and hurt myself. The problem was VIP Ride providing a so-called party bus/ limousine with no heat in 19 degree temperature that my body started having signs of hypothermia as a result, this was a far cry from a party on this bus. To then wake up feeling ill the next morning as a result. I feel like the host, ******* B. should be given a refund for a portion of the money that was paid. My name ***** ****** very disappointed no heat on bus, it was 19 degrees with no heat,
I'm 71 years old. And I was very cold that my feet was freezing, that they were numb. Couldn't see out windows because windows wasn't defrost. The floor were wet and slippery. I ******* ******** rent a Limo Party Bus from VIP Rides for January 4th 2024. Which is my birthday. On January 4th of 2024, twenty of my friends aboard one of their Limo Party Bus. As soon as we aboard the bus instantly we notice there was no HEAT. I immediately informed the driver of the problem. She replied give it a minute. Minutes went and still no HEAT. We were on our way to Akron which was 45 to 60 minutes away from pickup location. After 20 to 30 minutes out on the highway still no heat. By that time all twenty SENIORS were frozen even myself. The windows were forged, the floor were frozen and slippery with ice. We had no HEAT the entire trip 45 to 60 minutes. And on top of that the driver got lost. I want to point out to you that there was twenty SENIORS on that bus with no HEAT. Currently at least have got sick including myself. This is very unacceptable and unhealthy. Dear Sir/Madam,
Subject: Dispute Regarding Party Bus Rental on July 14, 2023
I am writing this letter to express my utmost disappointment and dissatisfaction with the party bus rental service provided by your company on July 14, 2023. The rental was for a VIP party bus to accommodate 30 people, but the experience turned out to be far from what was promised.
Firstly, the party bus we received was not suitable for 30 people, as we were assured. Instead, it was significantly smaller, forcing some of our guests to sit on the floor, which was both uncomfortable and unsafe.
Secondly, the air conditioning on the bus was not functioning properly, leading to an uncomfortable and suffocating environment throughout the entire journey. Despite informing the driver about the issue, no action was taken to rectify the situation, and he continuously brushed it off, claiming to be unable to contact the owner for assistance.
Moreover, the driver's lack of concern and failure to address our concerns during the trip was highly unprofessional and unbecoming of a service we were paying a premium for. Some of our guests were left with no choice but to order Ubers to get home, as the conditions inside the bus became unbearable due to the lack of adequate seating and ventilation.
Furthermore, the driver mentioned that he was attempting to get a larger bus, which raises concerns about the authenticity of the vehicle we were provided with. It is deeply troubling to think that the company may have misrepresented the services they offer, leading to such a disappointing experience.
As a paying customer, I believe I am entitled to a satisfactory resolution for these issues. I request a full refund of the rental cost as compensation for the subpar service, inconvenience caused to our guests, and the failed promise of a VIP party bus experience.
I expect a response to this letter within 14 days from the date of receipt. Failure to do so will leave me no choice but to escalate this matter further and seek legal action to protect my rights as a consumer.
I hope that your company takes this matter seriously and takes appropriate action to address these concerns promptly. Your attention to this dispute and a satisfactory resolution are greatly appreciated.
