    I applied for a job with ***** **************. I was offered a contingent offer depending on my background check. ***** uses Asurizt to run their background checks for the FCRA. However, on 05/10/2024 I received an Email from Asurizt stating, "that Asurizt, a consumer reporting agency, is reporting criminal or other public record information that may be adverse about you," to ***** **************. I sent them a response about the report on 05/16/2024 letting them know that the information in the report was not me. I received another Email from them on 05/17/2024 asking for a copy of my photo id, and I sent them a copy of current driver license, and I was able to find a copy of my old driver license, I had on file as well so they could see that the individual they on my report was not me. However, it is 05/21/2024 and I had not heard from them. I will not wait months for them to correct an error they have made, but I am filing a complaint with the Federal Trade commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Fair Credit Report Act, and the Attorney General's Office. I am listing this information because consumers should know there are places, they can go to file complaints to protect them from any misinformation. If my wife had not worked for the government, I would not have known my rights either.

    Asurint received contact from this consumer on 5.16 and confirmed that same day we we had opened a reinvestigation. As noted to the consumer in this communication, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Asurint has up to 30 days to complete our reinvestigation. However, we understand the importance of completing these reinvestigations in as timely a manner as possible. We plan to close out our reinvestigation today and will send further information directly to the consumer in accordance with our legal obligations.

    I lost a job with Vons in Moorpark California because Asurint has delayed completion of my background check. It has now been 4 weeks and Cybil had to hire someone else. She has repeatedly contacted Asurint and been told it will be completed tomorrow.

    Asurint has completed the open background check for this consumer. Asurint cannot control how quickly a court may respond to a background check request, particularly in California where extended delays are becoming more commonplace across the background screening industry. If the consumer has additional questions or concerns about the completed background check, we encourage him to contact our Compliance Department.

    Exposing inaccurate information in a report that is a fraud while I'm trying to seek employment that could possibly have a adverse effect. I'm already a victim of identity theft trying to protect my information and wish to dispute this. Order#********

    Business reporting wrong information on mvr/background and caused me not to seek employment. Business reporting I have two valid licenses. I only have one license in the state of Georgia.
