The worst Customer Relationship Management I have received from Cleveland Clinic.
I Received a Doctor's script for physical therapy as a direct order, but for both physical therapy visits with this clinic, I was denied 2 times, telling me the Medicare didn't cover it, and I am limited only for 16 visits.
Denied me the patient care that I need and wasted 30mins and gas for both visits.
I AM STILL IN PAIN OF MY NECK AND NO FOLLOW UP WITH MY CARE TEAM.

My husband has an appointment for a physical with his primary physician at the CCF - Strongsville. Our insurance covers 100% of the physical and labs for the annual physical. However we received a bill for the labs. I contacted the insurance company to find out why. I was told we were billed because the physician coded the labs as diagnostic instead of screening. The insurance agent advised that we contact the doctor and ask him to change the codes. The doctor refused to change the labs for diabetes and cholesterol due to health history. So, I called the insurance back and asked if that made a difference. I was told it did not because the labs were part of the annual physical. So, we contacted the Financial / Coding department to review the charges and have the codes changed. We received a letter stating they did a review and we are responsible for the charges. So, why does the Cleveland Clinic or their physicians have the right to supersede our insurance and bill us for charges that if they had been coded correctly would have been paid by insurance. The out of pocket charges they are billing us for are around $186.00 for the labs. With times as tough as they are that is money that belongs in our pocket, not the CCF.

I was scheduled for eye surgery at Cole eye institute in Akron Ohio. The eye doc did not fully explain my concerns. I explained to him that one of the eye drops could cause glaucoma. His response was "Yeah". I said I was nervous about some of the eye drops and didn't want to worry about becoming blind. He made another horrible comment which I am not printing here. He said that due to to my concerns with the eye drops, he would be uncomfortable doing the surgery and would not do the surgery and told me to find another opthalmologist. I have now found an opthalmologist not associated with Cole who has fully explained everything.

I am a patient in the Functional Medicine Dept. It’s nearly impossible to get ANY appointments. When I do finally secure one, it’s only for 30 minutes. I don’t get responses to most MyChart messages. It’s too stressful to deal with this hospital system when I am already dealing with chronic health issues. CC is ALL about money without consideration for the care of patients.
