      I joined Green Clean express that was recently built in my neighborhood, located at **** ****** ****., Suffolk, VA *****. I'm guided on their track by the staff, and I always make sure that they give me the go-ahead, before I proceed forward. (this can be veified by their video camera footage. On August 18th, after the personnel guided me onto the track, I heard a noise under my front passenger side as my wheel was guided onto the track. I paused my car, but the staff continue to wave me forward anyway. As my car advanced through the was, I heard a noise of something dragging in the same area. Upon leaving the automated wash, I drove to the vacuuming area to assess the damage. A part of my car underneath in that area was knocked loose and dragging the pavement. I brought it to the Manager of the car wash attention and asked him if he could temporarily knock it back up for me so that I could make it home, without causing more damage to the part. ******* ******* ((the manager) knocked the part back up in place after several attempts. When I got home, my husband entered zip ties to temporarily hold the part in place. I filed an incident report on 8/23/22 with **** *****. I received a call from **** several days later to tell me that they denied my request., and that they were working on getting insurance for any future claims. I met with ******* about the decision, to which he stated that they determined that there was no equipment at the car was that could have caused that damage. I telephoned the corporate office on 8/25/22, 8/26/22, and 8/29 and left detailed messages, because it was impossible to speak to a person. No one would return my calls. I returned back to the car wash and asked ******* to get his Supervisor to call me concerning this decision on 8/27/22. To date, I have not received a return call from anyone in Corporate, nor *******'s supervisor. I am asking that this company take responsibility and repair the damage that was done.

      They are finally acknowledging that I am contacting them, because BBB is involved. They are simply stating they will pass my complaint on.   I would like to keep my case open, until I receive an actual response from someone in regard to the damage caused by their equipment, to my car.

      I am rejecting this response because: 

      They are refusing to accept responsibility for the damage their equipment did to my Maserati.   This has been on-going for the past 5 months.  I would like to register this complaint on their BBB rating.  There will be numerous more from the other residents of the Hillpoint Neighborhood,  due to the damage that this car wash had done to their vehicle as well.  This company did not resolve any of their complaints either.

      On 8/27/2022 around 10:50am I went to Green Clean Express car wash on 517 Military Hwy Norfolk, Va. I payed 10 dollars for the tire shine package and wash for my Accord. As i went through the first time at the end i got out checked the car and noticed there was something on my hood looked as possible soap or something also noticed the tires didnt have shine on them and also i had a new scratches near the back driver tire, that i thought was dirt at the time and i went around and the attendent let me go through again. This time at the end of this pass through i inspected the car again as normal. And noticed i had scratches all over the car, paint missing that was not missing before,as i have pictures to prove. The top of the Car looked like the paint was peeled off so was the side corners and alot more scratches and paint gone. This car had a beautiful paint job for the year of the car as it has been taken well care of. Told the attended they filled out an Incident Report and took pictures as so did i. Was told between 24 to 72 hours i would hear an answer. Well 2 hours later i received a VM saying my claim was denied! This car came in with a great paint job just dirty and now i have brush marks and missing paint and scratches all over the vehicle that was not there before. Reason saying they saw these scratches on their cameras. I dont believe it for one second. This car has been to other car washes no issues and the last wash i did was by hand and it was waxed. I would have noticed these new down to the metal scratches, Roller marks on the top of the car near the sunroof, Deep marks on top of the fenders. Once again i have pictures of this car before and now after. ****** gave me attitude on the phone when i called back up when i wanted a copy of this camera footage, they claim they have zoomed in on the car and saw they were there before, that was their claim. I payed 10 dollars for a wash and now the out side of the car is ruined.

      I accept the business's response to resolve this complaint.
      I spoke to **** ****** in this matter and all he did was try to talk down to me over this matter. Tell me there was no way the brushes could do that. Kept telling me everything is calibrated correctly but in fact even the tire shine wasnt as it on hit half the tires. Seems as if the Top roller pressed to hard on top and torn the paint off it. And i a horrible scratch and paint missing on the hood. Which if all this was old it would have rust on it by now which in fact it does not. Tried to add more attachements but BBB would allow it.

      I was unfairly charged for 15 unauthorized charges by moo moo for the unlimited wash club I was having the 4-5 charges taken out of my account when there should have only been one. When I finally caught onto it there had been almost 20 charges that were made that should not have been. At first I suspected fraud but when I contacted the corporate office they said it was a glitch in their system so it was their fault that it happened. I was refunded four of the charges and then was told that I would have a check cut to me for 15 monthly charges of 29.99. This was almost five months ago now and I still haven’t received my check from them. I’ve called up there and talk to somebody named ***** ********* multiple times and he keeps telling me the check is in the mail or he authorized it or something and I still haven’t got no check. I try to contact them every day for the last month and keep getting a voicemail or someone saying he’s not available I’m not even able to leave a message for this guy. It’s totally unprofessional and I literally feel like I am being Ignored when this company was the one who made the error in general I don’t know what else to do I left him a message stating that I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau if I didn’t receive something back from them and I still haven’t. I request the check that they have promised me .

      We will void the previous check and resend it as soon as we are able to. We have to wait for the bank to process the void payment before we can resend it and that can take a business day or two to process.

      On 8/12/22 the car wash broke my rear windshield wiper. I was told to get a estimate and it would be covered. When I called back regarding the estimate, I was told I needed 3 estimates. Taking the time to get 3 estimates would be take more time then the repair is worth. Since this wasn't something I am at fault for, I think this is ridiculous and the claim should just be processed. If the business wants to get 2 additional estimates and pay the claim based on that, that would be acceptable to me. It is a standard repair/part: Wiper blade and rear wiper arm for 2022 Subaru Outback.

      I am rejecting this response because: Causing damage to someone else's property does not mean you can dictate the terms of requiring several estimates. Also, I have reviewed other BBB comments and customers who did this were given additional run around. They were asked to do it again, for example. This simply seems like a way to avoid doing the right thing. What an awful way to conduct business. I expect at some point to be contacted about a class action lawsuit. Disgraceful!
