      This complaint concerns Innovis’s failure to remove fraudulent accounts from my credit report following identity theft. Despite filing disputes and providing comprehensive documentation, including an identity theft affidavit from the FTC, Innovis has repeatedly verified these fraudulent items as legitimate. I have followed Innovis’s dispute process diligently, but these inaccurate entries continue to negatively impact my credit score and financial standing. Their inaction is causing me significant distress and hindering my ability to access credit and essential services. Innovis’s failure to comply with the obligations under the FCRA, FACTA, and related regulations will result in all available legal remedies being pursued, including but not limited to filing formal complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), as well as initiating civil litigation for damages as authorized under 15 U.S.C. § _1681n and §1681o.

      Finding unauthorized accounts made or reported without my knowledge or agreement completely stunned and grieved me. I've tried to get clarification from the creditors, but they have blatantly refused to give it to me. I demand that the creditors act immediately and be transparent. The creditors must submit pertinent application materials, show proof of express authority for each query, and give comprehensive details about each account and inquiry, including dates, purposes, and the kinds of credit products involved.       On 5/6/25 I had an issue verifying my identity at a bank. This was solely due to the banks Innovis verification software being unable to use my ******* cell phone number which I have had for over 2 years to send a one time code to me. (box was greyed out)

      After using alternative verification (a cumbersome in person process) to complete the transaction, the bank informed me to contact Innovis as they use their system and thats where the issue is so I can avoid this in the future.

      I contacted Innovis by phone and spoke to two representatives who went through steps to verify my identity. Funny enough, they ran into the same issue where ************, the only cell phone I own, not being an option to be used for verification. Inovis said that they "see the phone number ************ on my credit report and it wont affect my credit". Thats fine... however their own verification system has some kind of issue sending a one time code to my number.

      When I asked more questions, both representatives I spoke to seemed unabled (by means of policy) or unwilling to help further and told me where was no means of escalation. My credit report is fine... no issue there. However innovis's internal system has some kind of issue where it wont let ANY business who uses theur software for verification to properly authenticate me because of an issue with my cell phone ************ in their system.

      I want this issue corrected as this is silly... Why should I have to deal with extra verification from any businesses who use their services because they cant fix my file?! I will gladly provide any identifying information and my ******* bill to prove i'm really me and its a real cell phone!

      Lets leave **************** or ANY customer of yours out of this. This issue is with Innovis, not ****************. Please re-read the part below in quotes from my complaint where I explain that YOUR OWN SYSTEM presents the same issue that clients of yours experience when trying to verify my identity. Further you go on tpo say that Innovis or your system and processes are not creating any obstacle of hindrance with verifying my identity. This absolutely untrue! If you cant guarantee that you are able to send me a pass code, then your system is broken and needs to be fixed. If I cant be sent a pass code, you cant verify and you ARE creating a hindrance. 

      This circular logic is really on my nerves. If you spent 1/4th the amount of time looking at your system as you did explaining in detail why you are unwilling to help me, this would be fixed by now.

      Why has this been closed? All the business did is repeat the same thing that doesn't address the matter that they did over the phone. Whats the purpose of reporting this matter if they do nothing, and that settles the matter?

      They keep checking my credit score, even though I have NOT requested a new line of credit etc. We have called them before to ask to them to stop and they have done it again. My credit score has dropped 61 points because of them!

He stated that he was familiar with these inquiries and nothing further was needed  from Factual Data at that time. 

      Additionally, our client, ******* *************, accessed a copy of his credit report on  09/05/2024 and 01/13/2025. Per our conversation, we have disputed the inquiries with the  Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs). Correspondence regarding the dispute will be mailed to  Mr. ***********.

      Im trying to see what information Innovis says I have on my report but have failed to receive one .. When trying to login it says that they cant send a code to my number. So what did I do ? I tried 5 other numbers and they all said the same thing. So then I said let me try the mail AGAIN. *** ordered my report before and never got it. After giving them all of my personal information it claims they cant do it online to call. So I called and was told that since a code cant come to my phone theres nothing that can be done. So how exactly am I supposed to access my report if all the suggestions from them have failed . Thats not right at all . I want to make an account so I can access my report

      I recently reviewed my credit report on Innovis and noticed an account that did not report accurately, I had two late payments on my Discover account that I was in fact paid on time. Innovis have need to report all information about me with complete accuracy. This account has not been late on payments and have included screenshots of my transactional activity in JAN 2024 & FEB 2024. Innovis has failed to investigate and send me an update on my consumer report within the time frame i provided hence update my Discover account payment History on JAN 2024 & FEB 2024 to paid/on time.

      Further more , It is my understanding that per 15 USC 1681 (a)(2)(A)(i), my consumer report should not contain Information solely as to transaction or experiences between the consumer **** ***** and Innovis. Payment history and the late payment associated with payment history negatively impacts my Consumer report and are considered as part of my transactions and experiences between me and your company.

Include also all the information required by section 16379(b) of Title 15. You have 5 days from December 30 2024 to provide me with the information that I am requesting. If you do not provide this information in the allotted time given, then it will be assumed that, you cannot verify the late payments on these dates ( 01/2024, 02/2024) ( this means Lacking reasonable procedures to ensure the accuracy of my Discover Account) and I therefore demand that you remove the late payments from my Discover Account and ********************** report and update the accounts to Positive and on time.

      The following ****** ***** ****** account with account 0001 has already been disputed by me. The result is that this account is correct. In their report they indicate that the data was updated on 11/20/2024. I simply do not agree with this. However, they also indicate that the account went into charge off but they do not report a single payment on that report. How is this possible? How can they report this account with all this missing information? Is this 100 percent accurate. All of this is causing me a lot of difficulties, it is damaging my entire financial life. Please remove this account that is being reported incorrectly on my report.

      -The account referenced is in “charge off” status, meaning the creditor has written off the account as a loss and does not expect to be paid back the unpaid balance. For this reason, Innovis does not display a payment history grid for accounts in charge off status. Accounts generally enter charged off status between 120 and 180 days after the account becomes delinquent.


      -If the reinvestigation process with your creditor does not resolve your dispute, you may file a brief statement with Innovis setting forth your dispute.
