    I have had a similarly poor experience with Branch. Please don't be fooled by the 98% approval rating posted to their website. Yes, their premiums are low but if you have a claim (as I did) you will find that saving a couple of hundred dollars a year is not worth it. I left a lengthy post 3-4 months ago about the nightmare experience I had after wrecking my truck. The body shop I was working with said it wasn't totaled but the value Branch put on my truck was so low that they declared it totaled. That's when the fun began. It took about 9 weeks to get a settlement check because their value was so low I just couldn't accept it. Whatever additional money I finally got was pretty much a wash because I paid for my own rental car for over a month. Fast forward to mid July. I sell my house and cancel my homeowners policy, which was paid in full for a year so I'm owed a refund. Branch tells me I will have a check in 3 weeks. I follow up mid August, oops, they have not cancelled my policy yet, sorry, it will be 3 weeks. I follow up yesterday, right at a month later because I still don't have a check. I'm told they are working on it but the check has not been issued and that the process typically takes 7-9 weeks, not 3 weeks as I was told twice previously, so I'm looking at another 3-5 weeks or basically 3 months from the date I cancelled. Ridiculous that I'm having to follow up on something that should be a simple process. The only thing Branch does well is bill you on time. I'm 58 years old and have over the years used several different insurance companies - Safeco, Farmers, State Farm and All State. Branch is the worst - HANDS DOWN!!! Hope this helps you make a decision to stay away from them.************ - TX

    Dealing with this insurance company has been a nightmare. You can never reach the claims adjuster assigned to your case. You leave a message with a promise of being called back within 48 hours, and they never call back. Took our car to a collision repair shop and they will not honor the estimate. They tell us that they only do their estimates via pictures and thats what theyre trying to offer. When I spoke with the supervisor and told him that I was unhappy with the service I was receiving and told him I was considering contacting the BBB he abruptly said this conversation is over and hung up on me .I find dealing with this company a headache and would never do business with them willing again.

    Please read!! Stay Away from Branch for Home Insurance.!!! I had recently filled a claim with Branch regarding Hail damage on my roof as it affected my neighborhood. So, I did inspection through GC and they found good damages due to hail as well as some of my neighbors. I directly reported to Branch and sent them pictures of damages they also did there inspection and person who came to check said there is good amount of damage, glad you found it early as could've done more damage to your house. We had big crack at top, some missing and damage shingles in few places roof. My contractor had to ******* as following day we were gonna get rain to make sure it doesn't damage interior. After a week Branch came back and they provided estimate of just $1800 saying it's not Hail damage and its just normal wear and tear. They provided quote saying they will cover just 6 missing shingles, damages on window covers(due to hail), washing of fence etc. They somehow provided coverage for some of the window cover due to hail but not for roof. I have tried to reach to my adjuster after this but he doesn't answer the phone. Now if my home gets damage with rain they will comeback and say its your negligence which caused the damage so on and so forth. They have very bad process on claims they just want to take premiums from you and not do right by there customers. They use this tactics to avoid paying any money to consumers. I wish there is more legal protection consumer can get regarding this kind of insurance companies and practices they follow. I'm switching my insurance and never coming to Branch again. Glad, I didnt switch my Auto with them, I see same kind of reviews in auto side.

    I just purchased insurance from Branch through a rep named ******* She was very helpful and quite professional in answering my questions. I purchased home owners and auto Insurance. I hope that I do not need to use this insurance but if I do, I hope that I get the same professional and knowledgeable help that I did today. I have referred friends and family to Branch Insurance. Five stars! Please don't let me down!
