This practice is a scam to bill you appointment charges by scheduling your appointments without asking you, notifying you just 2 days before, no-one picking up your phone to even cancel your appointment and finally when someone does, they reschedule again even though you specifically tell them not to.
I was a patient of Dr. ******* at the Zangmeister Cancer Center and have had only one visit. I had many after-visit questions about the tests they did as well as the charges for the blood tests by the center when all the tests were done at LabCorp. Anyway, I still didn't complain, paid my bills, and decided never to call them back.
However, last Friday I got a text message that they scheduled my appointment for this Tuesday at 10:30 AM and I had to reply 'Yes' to keep it or 'No' to cancel. I had an exam so obviously I texted 'No'. But I got a text that I will have to call the office.
My mom and I had to call multiple times and left messages for Dr. *******'s nurse line to cancel the appointment but did not receive a reply until Monday almost noon. Finally, my mom talked with front office, when someone named **** told my mom specifically "She cannot reschedule but can cancel it." My mom asked to just Cancel it and not to reschedule it. **** still went ahead and rescheduled my appointment and didn't even tell my mom (and I am sure as I was listening to the call). Today morning I got a text message again asking me to be ready for the appointment. So my mom called again and talked with the front desk. **** picked up and told my mom that she had rescheduled it!! My mom strictly told her to cancel it and not to reschedule again. The moment my mom cancels the appointment, the nurse is suddenly "free", instantaneously, to call me to ask me to reschedule!
I wonder where was that "nurse" all this time for months when I left repeated messages, not just for cancelling but for many other test related questions?
