    I would like to share our experience from H*** with Always 1 Movers We contracted them for a move from ********* ** to *******/********* *******.They showed up on a Sunday, when on Friday they said we will come on Monday but might come on a Sunday. Furthermore, they stated We will deliver your items in 3-5 days, only to be told at the day of picking up We are going to ******* now (as in Sunday and you must meet ** tomorrow in ******* at 8am, therefore, we had to make arrangements for last minute travels to ******* to meet them and on Monday upon contacting us , I expressed to them that I am In need few hours to try to get out of work ,after he texted me We are 45 Minutes Away! Then when I contacted them , one of the Reps (or owner ) started to lecture me on why do you have a phone if you are not going to pick up of Check the messages? Stating that he left a message telling us I left you a voicemail telling you that we will place your furniture in storage bc you cant accept the delivery! At this point he said we had 2 choices To pay the full amount $11900 ELEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED and Three Fifty $350 for the storage or pay rescheduling fees and wait till they have a crew in ******* and pay the $11900 Eleven Thousand Nine Hundred plus the Storage plus a fee ranging from $1750 to $2500 Seventeen hundreds to twenty five hundred and it might take few weeks to get a crew!Therefore , bc we didnt pick up the phone immediately and called an hour late we were told TO GET YOUR STUFF YOU MUST PAY THE ************************** TO TELL ** WHERE OUT STUFF IS, therefore we paid $11900 eleven thousand plus the three fifty to get our stuff ! Our stuff was broken , damaged and stuffed in a storage not to mention the RUDEST MAN EVER CALLED ***! Do not go to the mover , as we are gong to the media on them to warn others of their terrible service

    April '22, Rep#1 quoted me $4060 (for an estimated 617 cf). After reading reviews here, I sent an email to cancel in May. Rep#2 called me to assure me that they have SO many customers & experience and that the bad reviews were not reliable. I didn't cancel, but expected I would probably have to pay at least $1000 above the estimate. This was still a good price range for our long distance move across country from CT to CA. & after taking out a 3 seat sofa, queen size box spring, double vanity (6 drawer) and a computer chair from our initial estimate, we still ended up having to pay $5024. They obviously grossly underestimate the cf.6/9 Rep ** calls me to tell me that the pickup window was between ****pm. 6/10 The driver calls me at 9am asking to come earlier than the pickup window of 10-1pm.6/14 Told them a delivery location in CA & requested a 6/30 Delivery Date. I called & texted with a total of 5 different people from then on. Each time, the rep told me they needed to get an "update from dispatch", and would let me know when they heard updates about our stuff. Didn't get any updates, so I had to keep reaching out almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day. They kept switching people with me who all said that they didn't have any updates & would get back to me as soon as they did. Lied on 7/20 that it was out for delivery, when it still hadn't left the warehouse. The first time I got ANY sort of estimated delivery window was 7/28, where rep#6 said it would be here w/in 10 days. Finally got our things on 8/1: 22 business days (33 days) beyond our requested day to get our things delivered & the WHOLE time we had NO IDEA if/when our things would ever come. Had to hound them. It was miserable. Filed a complaint w/ FMCSA. Horrible company. Best way to get a response from them is to group text every person you come in contact with. They also ignore any up arrows and fragile markings on boxes, so expect that boxes will be upside down and treated indiscriminately.
