  Horrible moving company! Movers beware! Nice when they give you a quote and after that the lies, deception, dishonesty, no communication and an unethical business begins. *** was so nice and sold the company. ***************************, manager never communicated with me other than sending me the bill. Moved my daughters belongings from SC to ****. Picked up on 10/24 and finally delivered 11/22. Almost a month when they said **** days. Wanted more money at pick up, $600 and I got them down to $150 after I said to get things off the truck. Warned my daughter at delivery that they will try and extort more money from her and they tried. I told her to call the police for harassment and breach of contract. Her things were damaged and she will be filing a claim, but not very hopeful anything will be done. Her kitchen table looks like they dragged it down the street. How does that happen when they wrapped it in moving blankets???? The washing machine and dryer looks like they took a bat to it! This company is horrible and should not be in business. Oh, BTW, dispatch called and told me the truck would arrive in 11/15 and to contact the driver. When I called him, he barely spoke English and was in **********! He said four days to get there! Well that didnt happen, since it arrived on 11/22. Definitely stay away from this company. They are so dishonest. I regret this move completely. Get a POD and do it yourself! I should have!

  This moving company is awful! Their communication is non existent and customer service is terrible. I had scheduled a delivery and they are almost a week late. They battled with me on payment for delivery. I offered check and CC as well as wiring the funds and they were unwilling to accommodate and refused to unload my furniture. I had to get the police an my lawyer involved. Overall horrible experience and wouldnt recommend them to my enemy. They kept adding fees as they went which they were unable to validate.

  Dont hire this company. Over charged, lost and broken items. Bate and switch practices with original estimates understated by over 30%. No bill of lading. **************** is useless and provides lip service. You belongings are held hostage until they can find a ************* to make the delivery. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

  They more than doubled our quoted contract price, including just price per mile. We were quoted 3$, after the movers packed our belongings away, they told us it over 5$ a mile. We had confirmed and reconfirmed the drop off location to be told the night before our items were to arrive we would need to pay an additional 800$ to have it taken to our house due to road weight limit. None of this had ever been mentioned previously. We own and operate our own business, so receiving our items by a certain date was crucial. We were promised by the 7th. We heard nothing until a week later even after calling. Almost two weeks late, we finally received our items. We tried to pay in a money order which we were told to pay with, and they refused to accept it and demanded cash. Every box we packed was completely crushed. Cabinets were crushed. Thousands of dollars of art were destroyed. Please, avoid this company like the plague. If you are booked. Cancel immediately.

  We used always 1 moving and let me tell you RUN FAR AWAY from this company!! Not only did our price double from what we were quoted but atleast 20 boxes of our items were completely shattered not just broken. They were packed in foam, bubble wrap and FRAGILE all over the boxes.. they clearly have no regard for your memories and valuables. They will NOT cover any broken items unless they pack up your entire house themselves. Which Im sure would be another couple thousand.. they are the worst -do yourself a favor please and do not use them.

  This company does not deserve a star given the worst performance of one of their employees ************************* ! I had to move from ** to ** and the delivery date was due on 09/1/2022. On the day of delivery given that I never heard from the company I called *************************, he told me he will get in touch with customer service for them to call the dispatcher and he will get back to me. Since then he has not been answering my phone calls, texts or email(1 ). I called today and a young lady informed me my belongings were sitting in ********** also ***** had not filled the form properly. Here I am after 9 days without my belongings after a cost of $4000(price increased when the moving crew showed up). At this point I dont care how much I paid but I need my belongings exactly as they loaded them without any breakage. For the delivery date I have no idea !! So frustrating!!!It is unfortunate that people are saying falsehoods to lure customers.

  I will never use a moving company again because I am so scarred by my experience with Always#1. Several expensive items arrived broken, including a bookshelf that was smashed from above. It was impossible to understand the process throughout. From what I gathered, my items were loaded by one crew, then unloaded into a warehouse, then reloaded onto another truck with other people's things. None of this was clear to me at the outset, nor was it clear that I could only pay in cash until it was precisely 7 business days before our arranged loading time, meaning that I was not allowed to cancel my order because of the "binding contract." TWENTY DAYS after loading, my items finally arrived. Meanwhile, I had a herniated disc and was sleeping on an air mattress for almost 3 weeks. ***** looked like they had exploded in the process and were ripped at the sides. Many items were damaged. The movers unloaded someone else's items onto the street and they were left out there for hours while they unloaded my items and put together some of my things, making it very convenient for people to take as they pass by. I'm currently in the process of filing a claim, though I have little faith they will pay to replace everything that was damaged. Next time, I will hire movers to load in, others to load out, and drive my own belongings.

  Only did a star in order to write a review. Horrible company, horrible experience, horrible service. Liars. Ruined many of our antique pieces of furniture, price was double what was quoted, boxes were blatantly mishandled and so much was broken cant say anything good at all. They only pay 60 cents a lb for furniture they damage and things that *** be priceless to you are disrespected and disregarded. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY SHOULDNT BE IN BUSINESS.

  This past weekend I moved and had the awesome pleasure of using this great company. They were very efficient, on-time, and personable. They were also super accommodating, seeing as I needed to move at the last minute and they were right there to assist. A special thank you to ***, *****, and ***** for all their help this past weekend. Those three gentlemen were absolutely great and professional. I would for sure use this company again!

  I spoke with ******************************* who turned out to be a complete liar. I already had low expectations and tried to ask all the questions to find a reputable company. ********* oversold the company, the amount is space we would have and the additional costs we could potentially occur. She told us they are a family business and dont outsource drivers/companies. She advised me to avoid those companies because they will not provide quality service. When she gave us a quote of $2750, we immediately asked Is there any chance for any reason, we would be charged more than this amount? She said No, you would literally have to double the number of boxes you have to be charged more. The movers arrived took one look at my belongings and my home and started telling me about all the additional charges we were about to incur. The amount we had estimated for my move, was actually too much for the truck. We did not have enough space to double the 50 boxes in the original quote. Also, they were charging us because we have more than 7 steps to get into our front door (standard in ***). The pickup staff also told me because my art was bubble wrapped and not in boxes, they would take it but charge me to put it in boxes later. I ended up having to keep a significant amount of my belongings because the movers said it would be an additional $550 to take more stuff. He suggested that I get a Uhaul trailer because it was more than what I could fit in my car. When I called ********* to express my frustration, she stopped taking my calls. I spoke with another woman, ***** she stated that she understood my situation and would request a manager contact me (which has not happened yet and its been almost a month).When the delivery arrived, we started asking questions, the driver immediately told us that he doesnt work for the company and he only transports. One of my dressers arrived broken and several boxes were poorly stored and crushed.
