I purchased an auto from this dealership and paid for an extended warranty. I traded this auto in after only 2 years. I called the dealership and asked to cancel the extended warranty and get a refund on the remaining balance of the extended warranty. I filled out the form for this along with proof of trading the auto in as requested. It's been over 1 month now, so I have called the dealership 5-6 times and left a message with the person I sent all the paperwork to and they have refused to return my call. I even sent this person an email requesting where my refund is with no response. The refund is almost $1,200. I need help getting this refund.

I was wondering if you have heard anything back from Bobb Automotive? If they don’t respond, what is my next step?

    Thank You,

Thank you for sharing his concerns. Our records reflect that we did respond to his emails. We explained it typically takes from 6-8 weeks to process a warranty cancellation. We mailed a refund check to him yesterday and confirmed that in an email to him as well.

I am rejecting this response because:

I did receive an email the first of this week telling me the above information. I will respond back closing and detailing that I did receive the refund check when I actually get the check.

I received the check from Bobb Auto yesterday July 1st. As far as I’m concerned you can close this complaint.

The reason not thing I can say is if the Dealership would have either return my emails or phone calls and told me it takes 6-8 to get the refund, all of this could have been avoided. Big lack of communication from the dealership.

My car loan has been paid off since 04/11/2025. I have contacted Bobbs Automotive 04/15/2025 to request the gap insurance refund with the finance department with my personal phone and my work phone. No one available or returned my call.

I tried 04/30/2025 and spoke to an agent and they had stated that everything was still pending and to call back in a few business days I reached out 05/01/2025, left a message with *** ***** asking for more information.

Called back on 05/05/2025 was directed to another lady named ***** in Finance who was confirmed to be in the building at the time but I was still only able to leave a voice mail.

I contacted back on 05/06/2025 and was filtered through different departments to eventually leave a voicemail. I have been getting the run around on getting a refund on my gap insurance now that my loan is paid off.

No one will speak to me directly after leaving several ways to contact me via email or phone number and its been over 30 days since everything has shown to have been processed.

Called multiple times in January and February 2025 about GAP policy cancelled and received no response or call back after leaving multiple messages. Once I finally got in touch with someone, I sent back the required form and supporting documentation on March 8. Since then I have called and sent multiple emails regarding the cancellation that has not been processed and a refund has not been sent. If you try to get in touch with the finance department, good luck because no one knows how to call or email back. I still have not received a refund over a month later and still cannot get anyone on the phone or get a response to any of my emails.

September/October of 2024, i purchased a blue 2022 ***** blazer from the dealership located at *****************************************************************. ***** was the salesman and seemed to be ******* me as well as *****, who was the one I signed my papers with. They didn't have much inventory but I was in need of a car, so I settled for the blazer with them verbally stating I could bring in the blazer to have repairs made to the body damage.

There are several dents on the rear hatch and a big dent on the roof of the vehicle. I purchased this vehicle on a sunday. They told me the **** *** Is there every other Sunday and asked me to bring it back the following Sunday. Well, as time goes by, I have several jobs and I haven't had a chance to just stop in so i've called sveral times trying to make arrangements for when the **** *** will be there and have yet to be called back from ***** or ******.

I ended up talking to a man in the service department. And he had me text the photos of the damage so he can let the **** *** know but I still haven't heard anything. The communication isn't there and I'm extremely disappointed for them, not keeping their word on their end, because the dents is what stopped me from picking the Blazer, the first time I seen it.

No communication, they did not keep their word.

I've called several times.  Also , attached is the contact.

On October 11, 2024, I began the process to purchase a 2019 ******* Elantra with 81k miles from Bobb Automotive. I was informed the car would go through a full inspection and that it had no mechanical issues. I paid ***** dollars down for the vehicle and purchase insurance for the vehicle. Amount Financed:$13,496.04. They had me to sign paper before I received the vehicle, or even test drove the car. The car was delivered to be from **** to ** on October 20, 2024 late that evening. At delivery the check engine light was on, but went off after I put gas in the car. I assume the gas top wasn't properly put on. On Sunday, October 27, 2024 the car broke down on that morning. I immediately contacted the sale associate that sold the car to me by text. I sent her pictures of the dashboard. I told her I was on the side of the road. I called for a tow truck but managed to get the car home after sitting on the side of the road. On Tuesday, October 29, 2024 the car did not start, I had it towed to a licensed Automotive shop to do a diagnostic. It was discovered that the car needs a engine. The dealership blamed me and said they will not fix the car or refund my money. I have been falsely accused and ignored. I have made numerous of calls and both the sales manger and general manger refuses to answer. I only had the car for 6 days and it does not run. I want justice and my money returned and for car to be returned or fixed.

They failed to put the condition of the car on paper. These papers were signed before I received the car.

Okay so here is a few. One they never told me the car was wrecked on the passengers side. Or I would have never gotten the Jeep I am in. They never gave me a car fax and I ask them for one. When we 1st got the Jeep not even a day latter it was back on their door step because it was over heating the ac and heat was not working and the car jolted like someone hits you from behind when they really didn't. We was told they didn't even know this car was on the lot and didn't even have time to look at it before they sold it. They only had a car a week before they even sold it to me. They said they would fix the issues and never did. This place is not a good place to get a car. I don't even know if the Jeep that I am in is safe for me or my kids who i might want to add are disabled and I need a safe car for them. I want to report them they can't keep getting away with this and doing this to people they never even told me the car was in a accident I had to find this out with the bmv. I would never put myself or my kids in a Jeep that's been wrecked they would have never made this deal if I even had any idea of this.

Purchased a 2016 dodge Challenger with only ****** miles . They told me that I had to get the warranty that it was the bank I go through that Wanted it .. I did as they said no problem well ***** miles later the car engine blew .. warranty would not have fixed it because the car was unannounced to heavily modified by the previous owner. So the I was told at the first shop I had to take it too a performance shop ... well I let all this information go to the dealer and my loan company and was told nothing they can do for me ... so I said okay and just kept going with it ... well then I finally had some money saved and got it to a performance shop well they said it has a mds switch that was used for nitrous, and that the engine was completely taken apart recently and also had numerous other add on racing type of modifications.. also said that the cheapest it would be was to replace the engine completely and that was from ***** to ****** to do .. well I'm upset at **** point for already paying 750 a month for a car that does not run so I called the dealer and the bank again for help or advice .. and informed them of all the details ... well the dealer stopped all communication with me completely would not answer or return my calls ... the bank told me it's on the dealer and at this point I just need some advice on what I can do ... I just feel like only 3000 miles is just not what a ****** dollar purchase should get me ... and even if they paid half I would be happy or even just labor ... I was never informed that the previous owner used the cat to race ... and we'll I just don't know what to do anymore ... I was forced into a warranty that did nothing and now I'm just lost at this point trying to make sure I keep paying for it so I don't hurt my credit ....thank you for listening and god bless ...

the date it all started was 3/30/2024 a company by the name of NABS reached out to me after i filed bankruptcy.

they said that they could help me get a car. i was in contact with a guy named *****, went through the process, then started to look for a car. I told him i would love a ***** coup. we found the perfect one. but then i got passed to a guy named ***** who had the car shipped within that week after i had to get it insured which cost me a lot of money for the down payment.

about 3 weeks later he sent me a random text saying that they couldn't go through with the loan because something was wrong with the car fax. which i thought was very strange because i ordered the car fax before i signed the contract and it was completely clear. they then made me put insurance on a second car while still paying for the first one. even though i didn't have that car.

I had to wait nearly 3 weeks for that car to get to me. when it arrived, it did not have tags. i had to contact them over and over to email me tags so that i could move the car.

they then never sent any paperwork to the local DMV for my title or tags for over 60 days and my temp tag expired. upon speaking to the title person (*****) she became very irritated with me for my calls after having to rent a car to get to work because i was pulled over and told that my tags were expired. she hung up in my ear and sent me to voice mail constantly. no one would speak to me or direct me to who i could speak to.

after writing a review i was contacted again the next day by ***** who assured me for the 4th time that i would be reimbursed for all of my trouble i was not.

they then finally sent my tags to DMV in july when i got the car in May but only gave them $20 for a temp registration when the bill of sale stated that they had to pay all fees including tag title and registration.
