    We are floored by the attention to detail that Kyle Aric did for us. We have an old house and he came to our home once to address our newly installed furnace and immediately found and fixed the issue. We later had a water heater installed and he did an amazing job with the diagnostics and fixed everything. We are so happy that in the future should we need anything else installed or addressed, he would be our request hands down (& talking to him about ethnic food is a plus!). We are so grateful to him for making sure everything was in line and to keep our little ones safe and comfortable. He also befriended our dog who was sad to see him leave. Kyle is such an asset to CJS and we hope that he remains in the company for a long time.

    I’ve been using CJS since the late 1990’s. I have never had a bad tech or bad service and this after a few moves and upgrades to rental properties. Will never use anyone else. Dustin and Ricky are my favorites but I’d trust any of them. The thing that matters most to me with services is integrity. This company has that.

    Matt was great and personable! You can tell he takes pride in his work and serving his customers! He answered all of our questions and despite the news he had to deliver was not the best, he still made sure we were well informed of our options so that we could make an informed decision! I highly recommend this company and technician!

    We contacted CJS because the furnace was running much longer than it should and the thermostat was not reading the correct temperature. Bill checked the entire system during all the stages and made some adjustment’s. He was very detailed, took his time to correct the issue and reviewed his work with us. We are new customers of CJS and are very satisfied with the service they provide. It’s refreshing to have a company with employees that are personal and dedicated to their trade.

    I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment that day! Bill arrived on time and was very polite and professional. He checked my entire system, which was working but the filter I had put in the previous month was too dense and slowed down the air flow. I’m very happy with CJS.

    CJS Heating and Air delivers to their commitments. I bought a full HVAC system from them five years ago with a full warranty. I had CJS come out and perform the regular maintenance schedule since they installed the system. Further, I am a member of their ‘CJS Yes Club’ for discounts and priority service. I am ecstatic with the company I choose. This past fall I did a routine maintenance appointment and got the proverbial “all-clear” on my furnace for winter. A month later the furnace encountered issues powering on and heating the home. I immediately called CJS, and they put me on the schedule and dispatched a technician within 24 hours. Unfortunately, this occurred on the weekend and if CJS does not have the part on hand they must wait until Monday to acquire it from their warehouse. The following week they were out and replaced the part only to find out it was not solving the full issue. They brought in another technician who diagnosed the main board in the unit as the culprit. Unfortunately, due to the chip shortage the part was on backorder and potentially not being made anymore. CJS went all-hand on deck to find a solution and bring me heat for the winter. Soon after they deployed an Original Equipment Manufacturer, TempStar, technician to confirm the problem. Once confirmed, they worked with the OEM to look for solutions and ultimately decided on installing a brand-new furnace at no cost to me. They were out quickly and installed it efficiently and I am ready to brave the cold weather months of Jan-Mar in Ohio. CJS’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction makes them a premier HVAC company in Ohio. I would recommend them to anyone and am thankful I get to work with such a reputable company. Finally, during diagnosis and install they went above-and-beyond by bringing toys and treats for my Senior puppy. I will continue to recommend this outstanding company to all that will listen!

    I have lost confidence in CJS. Be careful, and question proposals and actions of your service providers. Get a second opinion. I've used CJS for several years with reasonable results, however this year was different. I am used to "upselling", but this furnace inspection resulted in 6 questionable and expensive (thousands of dollars) quotations. Of particular note was an issue of an iron pipe fitting gas leak, resulting in what was purported to be a large leak based on a gas detector instrument: The sensor SCREAMED to indicate a LARGE leak. Two proposals would replace iron piping. The first would replace all of the pipe and included removal and re-installation of a 40 gallon water heater: the second was for a very limited amount of pipe. (Both in excess of $2,000). There was no detectable gas odor, and no sign of a leak using soapy water bubble detection. The service person turned off the gas to the furnace before leaving, presumably as a safety measure. I decided to get a second opinion. A second gas detector showed a VERY SMALL leak. I had it repaired for less than a 10th the cost of CJS's proposals, without the removal of the water heater. So, was the system accurately diagnosed, the work thoroughly thought out and detailed, and the resulting proposals reflective of good cost estimating? I contacted CJS and discussed my observations and concerns. The manager offered to have a person come to my residence for consultation. I declined at this time.

Fact is, it takes many people to make it possible for us to provide a level of service that’s built trust and long-term customer relationships for 26 years. It begins with transparency: an up-front, no-surprise price you approve before any work begins. Then, we back our work with a two-year warranty. Now, I understand you may feel our price is high. However, when you factor in the many people, the hours of training, and the equipment that’s needed so, we can say CJS MEANS YES, our pricing is actually less than comparable vendors. Can you get service cheaper? I’m sure you can. Will it match all we provide? Doubtful. I appreciate your business and hope this addresses your concerns.
