I was having trouble with my printer (HP) and I Googled HP to get help. I called a number that said they were HP, and they fixed my printer, and said there was malware in my computer. They sent me over to Metaverse-Techs LLC to "fix" my computer. I allowed them to access my computer, which was a huge mistake. Immediately after that my Paypal account was scammed-- the email name changed and the password changed. The contact information was also changed. Paypal resolved and protected me, but Metaverse-techs LLC will not take responsibility for this. I got a really bad feeling in my stomach that I had been scammed. I was so sure of that that I had to buy a new computer. There is something not right about this company. They don't answer any questions with a clear answer and are quick to ignore your concerns. I paid with a check so my bank could not reverse the charges. I am demanding a refund from them. They say all their bases are covered, and they are legitimate. I believe they are not!

The company Metaverse/ Malwarebytes signed us up for security on the devices in our house and they were "LIFETIME" and charged us within 10 months $3019.96 for this. And now they want us to pay $40.00 a month. NO WAY AM I PAYING ANYMORE. We are wanting to turn them in and hoping for a complete refund. This is crazy and they need to be held responsible for their actions.

3/14/24 I contacted HP Support online for help with my Printer. Unbeknownst to me I was connected to Metaverse Techs. I reluctantly gave them remote access to my computer. Finally, they told me it was a hardware issue rather than a software problem. They said they would send me a new printer that would arrive by 03/20/24. When it had not arrived by 03/22/24, and they had not reached out to me, I was worried, and reached out to them. When I couldn’t get ahold of anyone, I reached out to another company who told me that it was likely that I was ripped off. They went on to address my concerns and promised a new printer to arrive the next day 3/23, which it did. They helped me install it and it works well. Then, much to my surprise, the printer from Metaverse arrived on Sunday 3/24. They called me and I told them what happened. They didn’t have a satisfactory answer, and I was unable to discuss the matter at length that day. I called the next day 3/24 and spoke with a rep. He promised they would email me a return shipping label for their unopened printer by 3/27. He then told me that a rep from the billing dept would reach out and work out my refund also on 03/27. 3/27 passed without an email with the return label or a call from the billing dept. I called several times over the course of the next week and was only able to leave voicemails. Finally, I spoke with a rep who told me there was nothing he could do unless I let him back into my computer. I was NOT about to give them such access and told them to remove anything they installed (if in fact they did install anything). I also told him I was filing a complaint with the BBB. They failed to fulfill their original promise for a printer no later than 3/20, did not follow-up with me when the printer arrived several days after the promised date. I then paid another company to address my concerns. I will happily return the unopened printer when they send me a return shipping label and work out a full refund.

Date: Dec. 1. 2023 Called a "HP rep" ***** ************ to help with printer issue. Referred over to Metaverse rep. While rep was "in contact" with my computer, my bank account was attempted access. I had changed my password when I first got on line with this company and had never had a "hacking" issue before. I have to believe it was related to Metaverse "on" my computer. They asked for a picture ID and I supplied my driver's license. I called back on 12/2 to discuss "hacking" issue. I was told someone would call me back within 20 minutes. I never heard from anyone. I am concerned about my personal information now being in their hands.
