My water softener has been out of service for five months. Have had several different types of repairs, none of which have worked.I call, leave messages, no one calls me back. I text the service manager, Brandon, he doesn’t respond. I have a maintenance agreement with them that I pay $174 a month for but am receiving no satisfaction. I just want my system to work. I don’t know if you can help, but I am literally at the end of my rope with these people and this company. I even sent a long detailed e-mail to corporate and have not received any response. The number listed on their website is for a bank so that’s not an option. Is there anything you can do to help?

Mrs. **** had an issue with her well, someone turn off the bypass that was letting her well water mix with our softener water.  The tech located the open bypass and closed it, before he left the water was tested and had 0 hardness.  Mrs. does not pay 175.00 per month it is per quarter.  We will also give her another free quarter of service.

******* *** *****- Complaint ID #: ******** was contacted on 10/14 and decided to cancel his service. A $24.00 check request was sent on 10/15.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 10/24/2024

It is apparent that no action was taken by Culligan to resolve their customer service issues that will affect other customers, so they haven't really done anything, I still have not received the $24.00 check and have called them multiple times but it is still impossible to reach a real person.

No further well, no action required since they have not done anything, but I am happier without them. Guess i will have to leave neg info on social media to help others not use this company for their bottler water needs.

thanks for your time and efforts.

My husband and I have been a customer of your company in Dayton, Ohio since 2006. We have had very good service with your reputable company.

My husband placed a call on Thursday, October 12, 2023 requesting a replacement of the water osmosis facet, because the handle broke in an usual place. It must have been defective (see photo). We were notified that coming out would cost $176.17, but never mentioned the cost of the facet. They were suppose to call before arriving, but the serviceman said, “I was just a street over from your home.” He entered the kitchen and said it would cost more than $300 to replace the facet. I said, “ You got to be kidding me!” Yes, your bill total will be more than $500.1 could not believe it and I said, “Your company is a RIP-OFF.” The serviceman was one street over from us and still insisted that we had to pay for the service visit, which we reluctantly did. The company could have told us over the phone an estimate to replace the facet and we would have saved $176.17.

We both are special needs and don’t need to throw money out the door.

Culligan has failed to send me a bill for almost a year and they have also failed to do so by either US mail or email. They have not provided me with the services in which they are continuing to bill me for and even after I told them that I don’t want their services due to the way that they have failed to provide proper services. Ever since I have requested their service, they have had a lot of issues and I have gave them the benefit of the doubt. I have tried to resolve the billing issue however, the last person that I spoke with told em that she will call me back and she has refused to do so. I have also asked for the highest member of the company such as the owner to contact me about the issue at hand and this has not happened either. I was told that the salt that is provided with the services is not a part of the services is which I have agreed to get from them and it should be noted that I have not received the salt delivery in a long time which is supposed to be apart of the services in which they are billing me for.

I have tried to come to a solution with this company but they continue to refuse to contact me back to resolve this issue. I have attached a copy of text message to my representative Ben where is shows the lack of response from him and resolving this issue. I have also attached a screenshot of the voicemail left to me by a member of the company where she reveals that the bills are coming back to them “undeliverable” but they have my correct address and I don’t have any issues with any other company with billing.

I called and left ***** a message today. It appears that the billings came from Fairborn, Ohio Culligan. I have taken care of Mr.'s account. The balance is $0.00 since his free privlege program is over. He is now taken off the program.

I had a softener system and reverse osmosis system installed in June of this year. Since then, I have been unable to get any responses to my questions via email or a call back. They took my softener without asking my permission and I received no credit. My rep was to check into this and get back to me, however, he will not respond to me now. They are also billing me for salt delivery, which was supposed to be free for 3 months per my rep. I have called the store and was told that Jenny would call me back. Never received a call back. I have emailed numerous times to my rep, customer relations, and culligan cares, and do not hear anything back. You can see from my contract that 3 salt deliveries were to be free. However, I am still receiving bills. I also received an email stating that you receive a credit with softener trade in, however, I never did. They never asked if they could take it, never told me they were, so I would like the softener back or a credit on my bill. The softener was only a few years old.
