Hired build by faith, to build 10 x 20 deck, a step down to patio, and two stone walls, when he got hired he said 4 Saturdays it would be done. 14 weeks, yes weeks later , it was considered done, we reluctantly paid him , only one qualified guy on sight, *** himself would not come and help. He agreed with my wife one wall looks terrible, we ask if some money could be knocked off, he said no, his crew put boards down and made it very hard to get to do electrical, also had to pull boards up to put lighting in. If .don't let the biblical scriptures fool you, he said he would come replace a board that is cracked, never has, you would think it would be done in a timely manner. Communication is a minus 10. He will not return phone calls or text, had to use a different phone to call to have him answer. . Any person should not be treated like the way we were treated by this contractor . BEWARE: total nightmareBuilding With Faith Construction LLC

Thank You for Your Feedback At Building With Faith Construction, we deeply value customer feedback as it provides valuable opportunities for growth and improvement. As a newer company, we are continually learning and refining our processes to better serve our clients.Regarding our project with *** ********* we were hired to rebuild his back deck, including railings, two stone walls, steps leading to the patio, and additional electrical work. The electrical component was added later due to a wire issue caused by a previous contractor. At the start of the project, we provided an estimated timeline of approximately four Saturdays, with the understanding that it might extend further. While the project ultimately took longer than anticipated, our crew logged 12 actual working days spread across a 12-week period. Delays occurred due to weather conditions, other job commitments, and multiple changes requested by *** ******** throughout the project. We maintained open communication with *** ******** regarding these changes and kept him informed of our schedule. Its important to highlight that *** and Mrs. ******** expressed how pleased they were with the finished project, particularly the decking. Additionally, several neighbors stopped by during the project to compliment the work and inquire about the craftsmanship, which was greatly appreciated by our team.I would also like to clarify that I did not express dissatisfaction with the stone walls appearance. In fact, I would have been comfortable installing the same design in my own backyard. The Sullivans selected two primary stone colors, with a small mix of a third color that was leftover from a previous job. When the stones were ordered, we ensured an even quantity of the two selected colors. While one wall incorporated slightly more color than the other, both walls maintained quality craftsmanship. We also offered to make adjustments, which the Sullivans declined. The billing adjustment requested by the Sullivans pertained to the electrical work completed by our crew, which was fully functional and installed per the homeowners request. As for accessibility concerns, we installed a trap door to ensure easy access to the electrical components. Our crew structure consists of a ******* and a helper, with the goal of training helpers to become fully qualified. On several occasions, two foremen and their teams were present to expedite the project, including my personal involvement. Its important to note that, as the crew worked during standard business hours, *** ******** may not have been present to observe daily ************* terms of communication, our team strives to respond promptly to all inquiries. Calls received outside of regular business hours or over weekends may not have been answered immediately. However, at no point did we fail to return direct calls made to us during standard working hours.Lastly, we want to address a misunderstanding regarding our companys name, Building With Faith Construction. Our name reflects personal values and appreciation for the opportunities we have been given. We do not use religious references or scripture as a sales tactic. We respect the right of every homeowner to choose contractors based on their personal preferences and beliefs.Thank you again for your feedback and for giving us the opportunity to clarify these points. We remain committed to delivering quality craftsmanship and maintaining open, transparent communication with all of our clients.Review fromRita V.

I hired Fath Constuction A year ago to fix a leak in the back room involving an upstairs window and the roof. And to patch a hole between the original house and the added room. They cashed a check for 2,148.12 September 5th, 2023. I called several times asking when they planned to do the job, after several calls they would give me a date and no one would show up, I would have to call and ask why the work wasn't done. They would give another date. In August *** ********* came out reviewed the job. said he had to fire the man who done the estimate. Told me that he can have a crew out that fallowing
Saturday to do the work, No one came. I called he texted me another date again no one come. They haven't done any work. Made several appointments to come and do the job and I need the leak fixed and the room turned into a bed and bathroom. I've waited a year for this construction company to do the work I paid for. This last time after no one showed up I texted him. His reply was he's crew quit. After waiting a year without any work being done, I'd like to hire a different construction company. I need my money returned so I can do so. It has been a year of total disappointments; I only have the upstairs bathroom, and we are aging and going upstairs to use the bathroom is becoming difficult. I can't continue to wait on this company to do this job.Building With Faith Construction LLC

Yes **** did Hire our company to preform work on her home, It was sold by a past sales manager. He never added her to our calendar and we were unaware what the job was or that there was a job for here till she called. When she did call about it we came out right away and took a look at what needed done. I told here I would try to get here in as soon as I could even with a booked schedule already. We had a date set for her and when it came time we had one employee as we had another on vacation and 2 that quite in the same day on us. We tried to set up another date as I have the crew and materials to go start the job but is not allowing us to go preform the work at the moment. She has mentioned canceling the job but we have not heard back from her on being able to go do the work. As soon as I hear back from her I have a crew to send out.Review fromBen B

Beware of this company! We are extremely unhappy with the quality of work and attitude of the owner. We had a screened room built over my patio, and the roof continues to leak where it is attached to the house. I have tried everything to resolve the issue, trying to work with the owner, but he claims it's not his fault - he claims it's the roof of my house that's at fault. Odd, because it doesn't leak in my house, only in the screened room on the patio. I had a local construction contractor and roofer have a look at the construction, and he said the attachment was completely outside of good construction practices and not done correctly. The rolled roofing has wrinkles and unattached areas. The roof itself was only attached to the fascia of the house over the patio, which faces west (into the weather) and is where the leak originates. The local contractor even offered to meet with Building With Faith's owner, but I told him I would not welcome him back on my property. I tried to get the owner to fix it, and explained I would ask the BBB to help resolve the problem and post my disappointment on social media, but he texted that "Threatening me with the BBB and socials is not going to help the matter for y'all." That arrogance was just the last straw, and I still have the text from him to show any interested party. I would never allow him or his crew on my property again, nor would I ever recommend him to anyone else. His foreman even called me to tell me he was leaving the company because of the owner's lack of customer service and management skills. One the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I would warn others to stay away, as he either doesn't know how to build, or doesn't care if it's done right. Now I'll have to spend additional money to get the roof attached the right way to prevent leaks. This job began in late February; now in mid-August, I'm posting this review.Building With Faith Construction LLC

We are sorry for you unhappy experience, we had tried fixing the issues on the roof several times even with the homeowner not finishing paying the remain of his bill and voiding his part of the contract. The home owner also added stuff to the project that never got billed for either. The home owner waited 3 months to inform us of the problem, then we came back to fix the issue and waited another few months to let us know it had continued to leak. The home owner just recently reached out to inform us that it was leaking and when I tried explain what I had been told he got very rude angry with us.
The foreman that also told you that went behind our company back doing sketchy work setting up work with out owners approval. That foreman went and started his own company with steeling all employees and thousands of dollars from the company on his way out. I as the owner has been contacted one time about the leaking roof and just explain what I was told from the previous foreman. The foreman was also the person to decide to do the rubber roof.
We never said we would not fix the issue, we just have not been able to work with our schedule.
