We hired EveryDry to waterproof and reenforce our basement walls. They sold us a package and repairs that were either never completed, or done with no regard to quality. They removed one of our doors and never hung it back up. They'd poured a new floor that had eroded and the door no longer fit in the frame. We purchased a warranty and after several visits back to "fix" the issues, the wall began to crumble and the door is still off it's hinges. The last time they came back to fix some issues, they actually made the waterproofing worse, and more water is coming into the basement than before the original job was "done". The walls were supposed to be sealed inside, but Everdry just put up plastic lining instead. The walls are still crumbling behind the plastic though. The last manager to come out has refused to seal the inside of the wall, and there is now water pooling, which it wasn't before.

We financed the work through them, since the job was quoted around $25,000 and we had 0% interest for 1 year from the completion of the job, and while we don’t consider the job “completed” that timer is already ticking. It has been 8 months since the original work and we’re tired of scheduling and rescheduling them to come out and finish the job. They’ve canceled on us without notice and then scheduled us a month out twice now.

The majority of the people we’ve interacted with have been very friendly and nice, with a single exception. The turnover at the company seems to be an issue. Almost every integration has been with a different person.
The amount we paid for such a subpar job is, in our opinion outrageous. At this point, the only things that would make us happy would be to have a good portion of what we paid refunded, or if EveryDry sub-contracted to a company that would replace our entire foundation, while keeping the sump pump and air exchanger that EverDry installed. What we would settle for is a portion of what we paid refunded and for the repairs to be finished.

Do not do business with EverDry Toledo (Findlay Office). On 1/5/23 they told us a hard start date would be 1/11/23. I stopped at their office on Saturday 1/7/23 to find out the start date, they were closed. On 1/9/23 **** ****** said he'd have to see about the date after having us sign paperwork. I told him that the date would have to be it or we couldn't move forward. He said he'd call me that night or next morning, he never did. ******* (production supervisor) called Tuesday and said a foreman was being assigned Wednesday (which was supposed to be start date). No one called. I spent a week trying to get answers. We decided to cancel passed, and now they say we owe $8k. The said we wouldve had to cancel on Saturday (1/7) but they were closed, but 3 days wouldve been Sunday. They would not return calls, and now are trying to get thousands in "material costs". When we asked how they bought material when they didn't even have financing secured, they couldn't give a straight answer. Asked 5 times in one day for our bank information, but couldn't give us answers. I have begun reaching out to legislatures, and plan on contacting the Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost for this companies high pressure tactics and 'business' practices that are either a lie or misleading!

I just finished up a phone conversation with Mr ******* and we have mutually agreed with a satisfactory  resolution. At this time, Mr ******* is free of any indebitness or obligation.

Unfortunately it merely came down to miscommunication. The company apologizes as this is not our normal way of doing business.

We extended a professional invitation for future contracting of any work that Mr ******* appreciated and accepted the gesture.

    Cordially,

    *** *******, General Manager.

We hired EveryDry to come out and fix a foundation issue we were having that was causing water to come into our basement. When we scheduled with them, they were supposed to do work on 3 of 4 of our basement walls, inside and outside in Feb of 2022. They could only complete 2 of 3 walls because there was a gas line that they said needed removed as well as failing to tell us we needed our hot water tank moved. They stayed the gas company needed to come out to remove an old gas line before they could continue work on that wall and that the gas company should be out mid spring to remove it. September came and nobody from the has company came to remove the line. I called our gas company and was advised that this was an original gas line, could not be removed and EveryDry needed to call 811 to have the line marked and located. We finally got a reschedule date for our foundation work for October 5th. When Oct 5th came around, nobody called us to tell us that they didn't have a driver so they failed to show up or even notify us. When we called back to EveryDry, we were told that they weren't going to come out. After requesting a supervisor to speak to we were assured that they would be back out on Oct 19th. Today is October 19th and the foreman coming to our house to "finish" our basement wall didn't know about working on both the INSIDE and OUTSIDE of the wall, he was only under the impression it would be outside. So now they have to RESCHEDULE again for us to have our inside wall completed. EveryDry states that they had a serviceman who was let go for not properly documenting the work that needs to be done. It has been almost 9 months and our basement is still being rescheduled to be finished and I'm paying 20k for this work. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends or family based on the severe lack of communication and the way our issues were handled.

Waterproofing of my basement (interior and exterior) was performed by Everdry Waterproofing of Findlay in late May and early June. During the installation, paint was removed from my wall via tape from dust covers, a floor runner in entryway was not protected and completely ruined by dirt and mud, and the installation was not completely to my standards. After completion of the initial install, there was stone and concrete in the drain for my washer, the walls installed were done so sloppy with large amounts of caulk and lack of proper trim pieces, and we are still experiencing extremely high humidity and water in areas of the basement. Upon contacting the production manager, ********, multiple times with little response, I was finally able to have someone come out to address the issues, but they were instructed to only clear the drain. I have sent photos to ********, called him multiple times over the past several months and received no response. When calling the office, I have left messages but have yet to receive a call back. At this point, I am still unable to use my basement, my belongings are not in their place, I am still experiencing water problems and I have received bo further resolution from the company after spending over $17,000 on the project. This company states they offer a full warranty but there is no way to get ahold of anyone to resolve my issues, let alone come and warranty the issues I am still experiencing with water.

Our manager has been in touch and will be taking care of issues on October 10th and 11th.   This is what worked for the home owner.  Thank you for your feedback.
