  Terrible, lazy, unprofessional, deceptive practices, overpriced, unethical, untrustworthy, untimely, rude, the list goes on. Cost me the house I had planned to purchase. Not knowledgeable in the products. Horrible experience. Avoid Avoid Avoid!

  Not a good lender to deal with promise you everything and then the day you are to receive said promises they cant help you , They basically make up all kinds of lies on the phone . And to note they ask me to do a review before we settled which in turn didnt even happen . I was pissed off now I am still trying to regain my life because their lies my credit dropped alot thanks for nothing you turd

  How does this place have a 4.2/5 rating?! All the reviews just about are one or two stars. Anyway, my experience is pretty much just more of the same. Joseph was my person and had terrible communication. Finally went to work with someone else/some place else, and a month later he responded. He was rude, condescending, and guilt tripping me on how much time it took to work on my pre-approval when I explained why I was leaving there (not to mention denying his lack of communication and interest). Just confirming honestly why I didn't want to work with him or NLC. People like this should NOT work in any kind of customer service type based jobs. I feel sorry for anyone who actually gets a loan through here. Not to mention the real estate agents referring these people/business. STAY AWAY!

  The absolute worst mortgage company ever! I was told I was approved by a loan officer back in October 2022 and everything was going great! By December I didn’t hear anything from my loan officer which was unusual because we talked almost everyday during the week! I decided to get in touch with the home office in which they informed me my loan officer had been fired! (No warning, no call, no letter, no nothing letting me know this) after about a week I received a phone call from another mortgage officer who was not a people person at all! Nothing was promising as before with the other officer! I had done everything they had asked me to do and also paid $575 for an appraisal! The new loan officer wasn’t communicating with me at all unless I contacted him and after about 3 weeks he tells me my deck is a problem even though my house appraised $60000 more than what I was borrowing and basically told me there was nothing they could do! I have emailed and I get no response! Very unprofessional and very disappointing!

  I was very disappointed by my experience with nations lending. I had a strong suspicion that my home would not appraise for the amount that was needed. The gentleman I was working with assured me that if I paid for the appraisal he would make sure that my loan went through. I paid for the appraisal(money I didn’t have), my home did not appraise for the amount that was needed (at least 75,000 as I suspected) and my loan did not go through. The gentleman stated that he attempted to contact the appraisal company but if they would not increase the appraisal there was nothing he could do. This was a complete and total contradiction of what he had told me. If you do not have a home that you are sure or will appraise for a minimum of $75-$80,000 don’t even bother with this company. I am very disappointed and very displeased with the way this was handled. I wish that he had been upfront with me and would’ve listened when I told him I didn’t believe that my home would appraise for enough. But I took him had his word that the loan would go through and here I sit still with no loan.

  I had an amazing experience with our loan officer Hahna as she always responded quickly and never kept any part of process hidden. There was never any delay at all in the process. overall it could of been completed in less than a month if we would not of had small projects we wanted completed before the appraisal

  We had a wonderful experience with Nations Lending and Mr Joseph ******! Our loan was complicated due to buying before selling our home which put us into a bridge loan. Not to mention it was also a bank stated loan as my husband is a small business owner and I am retired.
  From day one he was with us every step of the way consistently keeping us posted of any and all updates during the process of our loan. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and was able to answer all of our questions at all times. He got the job done and we ended up closing right on time. I will recommend him to all of our family and friends! Thanks for a job well done!

  This mortgage company IS THE WORST! They lie, use bait and switch tactics, half the time you can NEVER get ahold of their agents, they are not transparent about process, their rates, or even the mortgage product. They will have you pay thousands to pay down debt, with promises of a better rate, only to lock you in at a higher rate, and then when they've messed with your credit, you are left to qualify for a high interest, high PMI, FHA product when you qualified for conventional because their cronie bitter underwriters take weeks to do the job that only takes a day! Buyer beware! To make matters worse, they use LoanCare to service all their loans, who are even worse! Keep shopping mortgage lenders, save yourself the hassle and aggravation! I have dealt with them twice, and that was two too many! Steer clear of Nations Lending, no matter what branch! They make GMAC and Countrywide from 2008 look like saints!

  Wish I had read these reviews in advance. Now I too am screwed out of $650 appraisal fee for nothing. My "afent" Jeremy should have known immediately that I did not qualify from my financial statement. I have been waiting for months with very little input from the agent on the progress of this refinance equity loan. RIPPOFF!!!!
