Unethical, price gouging and hidden fees to gain profits. Staff is untrustworthy and dishonest.

Mrs. ****** contacted our facility to schedule an appointment for her 2014 Chevrolet sonic. Her request was that we replace the passenger front lower control arm. After She dropped the vehicle off we proceeded to pull it in for an inspection to ensure that the control arm was in need of replacement. Upon further inspection we determined that BOTH front lower control arms were worn beyond specification and also the right front sway bar end link was bad. We then contacted her with an estimate to advise her that her vehicle actually needed both front lower control arms and sway bar end links. At that time Mrs. ****** proceeded to argue with us and tell us that the previous shop told her it only needed the right side. i then invited Mrs. ****** to come down to our shop so that i could show her in person the worn out parts on her vehicle. Upon arrival i took her out into the shop and showed her the worn parts. After several minutes of explaining the situation and what it would take to make a proper repair ****** verbally agreed to complete the estimated repairs. The next business day we received the parts and installed them onto the car. i then called Mrs. ****** to inform her that her car was ready to be picked up and that the repairs were successful. At that time she requested that i send her an itemized invoice via text message. Upon sending the link to her mobile device she proceeded to heckle me and argue about the price that she had previously agreed upon for the repair. i explained to her that nothing had changed about the price that we had originally agreed on. Our shop has repair order processing fees, credit card fees and taxes, and shop fees which are all completely normal in the automotive repair industry. Never once did the original agreed upon price change and nor did we add any "hidden fees" or alter the estimate in any manner. Mrs. ****** then drove to our facility so that she could pick up a copy of the invoice and go to her bank to get the correct amount of money out. When she was leaving our facility she backed into a customers car and left our lot without notifying any of us about the accident. She then returned without her vehicle which was damaged in the accident and proceeded to deny backing into the vehicle. After calling the police to file a report for the incident ****** then finally admitted to hitting the customers vehicle. ****** then payed the repair bill in full and we released the keys to her at that time. Due to Mrs. ******** dissatisfaction with our services i had the owner of the shop reach out to her and try to get a better understanding of what went wrong or what we could have done different in the future to prevent this type of interaction from occurring again. She informed him that she felt that the fees were unfair and that she felt like she had been taken advantage of. In good faith we decided to cut ****** a check for the difference in fees on the repair order.
