    Awning and installation are great. Don't use it because the crank handle provided is too short and hard to crank when it's above your shoulders. My 71 yr. old spouse can't crank it at all. When our sales person MK was here, I specifically asked how hard it is to crank when discussing the power option and based on that discussion I was comfortable opting for the hand crank without any concern if either of us would be able to crank it in or out...I was wrong. When I called MK back and explained the situation. I asked if they had a longer crank handle, nope. Asked about the motor option. They wanted $2K to come back and install a motor ($6700 apparently wasn't enough). After expressing my dissatisfaction and feeling like the manual hand crank option was not represented accurately (especially for seniors), They offered to do it for $750. Still too much, so I suggest $600 ($400 for the motor and $200 to help with the cost of coming back out). He asked if doing it at $600 would make me a 100% satisfied customer, I said yes. Never heard from sales person MK or anyone again. Oh well, I have a $7K wall ornament that looks nice.

    Purchased an awning through this company in 2021 & from the beginning of our dealings with them, they do not return phone calls or if they do its months later. Weeks ago we spoke with them regarding a reinstall of this awning (new roof was installed and awning was attached to roof & taken down). A price was given & agreed for reinstall. Then no contact. Following 3-4 different ways of leaving messages (via sales person, 866 numbers, awning company, etc.) we have not received a call back & its been 5 weeks. In one of their ads they picture approval seal of the BBB. Do not recommend using this company. Are searching for other installers. (Would not leave any stars but wouldn't allow us to.)
