4/21/22 We Hired Allstate Exteriors & Restoration Services LLC to replace the roof on our addition. Our price for 3 layers of Mule hide and replacement of rotted wood was $10,799. The roofers showed up 6/6/22 and it was estimated to take 1 day.
Day1 they stated that they did not have enough material, so they needed to charge an additional $3,500 for wood, I agreed and after Day4 the project was completed 6/9/22. We inspected the "final" project to find: ceilings were damaged, they cut all of our wires to cable and phone lines upstairs, the cedar siding had been ripped off (they attempted to patch it with aluminum flashing), we had beer bottles in the yard, the rotted wood was laid over not replaced, and we got 1 layer of mule hide not 3, the remaining material was in the yard.
I called Allstate to inform them of the issues. They vowed to send a manager out to inspect the project and make it right. Luke came out that night and after inspecting it stated that: the roof would need to be redone, I should have my cable company fix the lines (they would pay for it) and then would re-run the lines. Luke would order and fabricate the siding to match the original, and then fix the damaged ceilings and drywall. I agreed to have the issue corrected.
They scheduled to come out 6/13/22 with Luke onsite to monitor. The day of they called to reschedule due to weather, I agreed it would be safer re-scheduled for 6/15/22. On 6/25/22 (after 2 no call no shows and 1 emergency (theirs)) The roofers finally made it out without Luke. Day2 of the project I was informed all the rafters needed to be re-done and it would increase the cost of the project to $15,000. They completed the roof replacement in about 2 days 6/27/22...

The plan to solve this issue is as follows.

Our team has planned to go to the homeowners property on March 22, 2023 when the weather is above 50 degrees for best installation practice purposes. We will have our crew and one of our Quality Control members at the customers home at the time of the work as well as Paul, to aid in helping with the (old) wood siding. Brooke, our customer success specialist, has called the customer and let her know that we would be there on 3/22. With that plan in mind, we will be addressing all of the issues and fixing them at that time.

I wanted to keep the claim open until the repair work was completed as in the past I had difficulty getting it completed, and or more damage was created while fixing the roof that needed attention. However, the work has been completed and is acceptable so we can close the claim out at this time.

I had a roof installed 12-3-2021 by Allstate. My roof is wavy. I had ***** ******* Rep investigate the shingles. They came back and they are fine. ***** ******* was caused from buckling that Allstate put them on wet things under the new boards. The edges of the roof look like there are peaks or come up.
Allstate came out & put some nails in where it was really bad but around back you can see wood around the vent it is buckled.. But all the way around it is wavy all the way down the trailer. it is not straight. I am worried about the wood rotting & rain ruining & ruining warranty also. My neighbors who also does roofs, can see from inside their homes because they are higher & say it is not right. It has been done wrong.
My old roof looked better than this new roof. I paid $9,999.00 & I want a full refund.
