    On February 2, 2023 Fred Appliance charged $536.18 to repair Imperial Series Refrigerator. The charge was to repair the ice maker and to keep food cold. Work was completed however on May 14th the refrigerator stopped working (ice maker stopped working as well as keeping food cold). Fred Appliance came out to repair the refrigerator for the same issue we had in February 2, 2023. Not only did Fred Appliance come out they also charged us a service charge which was an additional $128.52 to tell us we “need a controller but it’s discontinued” This company knew this refrigerator wasn’t repairable when they came out on February 2, 2023 all they did was patchwork and took our money. Now I am out of $664.70 and a nonworking refrigerator!!! I am not requesting them to repair I am asking for a full refund because this company committed a fraud and robbed us of our money when they knew they didn’t have the parts to r to do the job I paid them to do.

    Thank you for bringing up this concern. We've thoroughly investigated the matter and would like to provide you with some information. Mr. ******* initially contacted us on 02/17/2023 to repair his refrigerator's icemaker. Our team visited his home on 2/22/2023 and discovered that both the icemaker and its housing had failed. We returned on 02/28/2023 to install the necessary components. Unfortunately, about 10 weeks later, on 05/15/2023, we received another service request stating that the freezer part was not functioning properly. Upon inspection, we found that a control had failed. Sadly, we regret to inform you that this specific part is no longer available. We want to handle this request fairly, but it's important to note that these service events were completely unrelated. We understand that this is a very unfortunate situation, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know.

    I am requesting a full refund of all the monies I paid to this company which includes and totals payment for repair of the refrigerator (which was actually patchwork) and payment for service calls on both visits totaling $664.70

    How is the No working refrigerator that I paid this company to repair obviously wasn’t repaired because I had to call them out to repair the same issue again (nonworking refrigerator) ice isn’t working nor is the cooling of the refrigerator.. leaving us with nothing to store our food in yet, your telling me these issues are not the same.. Come on, bottom line this company did not repair our refrigerator as stated they took my money and they get to keep it while I am out of money and no refrigerator. How is this fair to the consumer?
