Hello - I have called to discuss this same issue many times since November 2023. Most recently I called on Monday 6/17 and Alesia G******** was going to call me back and did not. I called on 6/19 and nobody answered and there was no way to leave a message.

      Regarding Acct # ***********

It's for my annual mammogram. I've been getting the annual mammogram in NOvember for over 10 years now. It was incorrectly coded as diagnostic and it was not diagnostic. I have indicated to you and ****** for months the error. ****** agreed and just canceled the bill. I spoke with Samantha on 3/21/24 at ******. They did not have insurance adjust for it. It was supposed to be marked as preventative. There was nothing to diagnose. the original nurse misunderstood and coded the order wrong. Additionally ****** pulled the wrong order. I had a mammogram order already in the system by ** ******** ***** - - PREVENTATIVE NOT DIAGNOSTIC MAMMOGRAM - SAME AS EVERY NOVEMBER.

I want it recoded and sent to United Healthcare - b/c it will be covered.

I had a mammogram at ********* Hospital in ******** **** on February 2023. I am a Medicaid *******) patient. Molina paid the bill to the hospital with no problems therefore proof that my insurance information was available through the hospital. I soon started receiving a bill from Professional Radiology (the company that oversees the Radiologist and their billing for the readings of tests etc) and it stated that the charges were denied payment by insurance and that I am to pay the outstanding balance. I immediately called the insurance company to find out why. While on the phone ins. comp called Prof. Rad. and they hadn't even billed the insurance company. Therefore Problem #1 demanding payment from me under pretense that insurance refused payment (they werent even billed). I was told it would be taken care of. I have since received 2 more bills from Prof Radiology stating the same information. After sending 2 letters and a phone call I now am receiving emails from Prof Radiology demanding payment w/o billing insurance. Isn't that fraud?

      1/6/23:
I had contacted the “Billing Questions” phone #: ###-###-####

The automatic system proceeded to take me to initiate the payment, before allowing me to speak with a representative. I eventually navigated and spoke with a rep of the “Physicians Billing Office”.

      I made clear the following:

      1. My frustration is not directed at you, but rather the company and its processes.
      2. I already paid over $200 and that the company, and agents, need to seek collection out of said payment.
      3. The first bill must be the only bill. Said bill needs to itemize the fees, which groups/departments/accounts they go to. They, and the hospital, must negotiate to allocate payments.

I asked the rep to file a VOC note on my behalf, that these billing practices are unethical, if not illegal. I stated I have withheld payment and directed the group to obtain their collection from the previous transaction.

These surprise, inappropriate collections cannot pass muster. While the bill I received is rather small, out of principal, ethics, morals, and the law itself, I will withhold and again direct any collection must be sought from the prior Paid In Full.
