      I have been a customer of copper.net for over a decade. Within the last 2-3 months this business has changed management, connecting as "Web Mail". I have made several phone calls and sent several emails asking for tech help to get bad or erroneous email addresses from my address book. I never hear back from them with a phone call or email! It is truly frustrating! I have now paid for a yearly subscription to this service for several years in a row, to get the discounted rate. In reading some of the other customers comments, they have experienced NO customer service help, either! In my experience there is NO excuse for a company to treat their paying customers in this manner. This is why I'm writing to you, so perhaps you will be able to "persuade" this new management to take care of their customers. My thanks for any help you can give us regarding this big problem!

      BBB NOTE: Consumer filed a new complaint online that was flagged for review as a possible duplicate complaint.  BBB Complaint Acceptance guidelines do not allow your BBB to validate additional or duplicate complaints from the same consumer against the same company involving the same account or marketplace issues, as we report both the number and nature of the complaints that we process.  

       

      We have closed the duplicate complaint and copied the additional information submitted and we have manually posted it to the original complaint case below. Based upon this new information we are resuming BBB Dispute Resolution Services. We appreciate the patience and understanding of the parties.

      Approx. 9/8/24, I tried to log in to my email, but couldn't. I tried my account website--"mycopper.net", but it says "under construction-check back soon". I have tried to log in all week including today, 9/15/24, but can't access my account (and my list of friends and business emails)!! I have paid for a full year of service, but can't get any response from them--PLEASE help me get the service I've paid for!! Thanks!!

      I have been trying to contact copper.net since June 2Oth and have left messages to call me as I am unable to use my internet service, ie email, since that same date. No one will call me back and I have had no service for which I paid a year ahead. Copper.net changed over to what appears to be another owner within the last few months. As a customer using their service, I was not told how to use the new service, nor that it was going to happen. I had no email service for a couple of weeks at that time too. I called and called and left messages then also with no response again from them. I need to be able to use my email...I want to be able to contact someone at Copper.net to clear this up !

      My records show you do not have internet through us, you only have an email address. If you're having trouble seeing pages or going one from one page to another, that would be with your internet provider. In order to access the webmail for copper.net please to go to the webmail, login with your full username and password, I will have an agent give you a call to go over that. There's a link on our homepage that takes you to the new login, we did not change owners but rather providers so the login screen looks a little different.
