State of Ohio vs Jessy R. May
On January 15, 2021 in the Court of Common Pleas of Paulding County Ohio, the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio indicted Jessy R. May on 1 Count of Theft, a felony fourth degree and 2 Counts of Theft, felony of the fifth degree. It was found that Mr. May did with purpose to deprive the victim(s) of property or services, knowingly obtained and exerted control over said property or services, by deception or beyond the scope of the express or implied consent of the victims. On May 18, 2021 Mr. May entered a plea of guilty Theft (felony 4th degree), Theft (felony 5th degree) & Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity (felony 2nd degree); and on June 10, 2021 the Court ordered Mr. May to pay restitution to the victims (in excess of $68,494.00). On December 20, 2023 the State of Ohio (Plaintiff) moved the Court for an order revoking Jessy May's (Defendant) Community Control Sanctions based upon the defendant not making adequate restitution payments, as required under the conditions of his 2021 community control. A hearing on the motion to revoke Defendant's Community Control Sanctions is scheduled for January 9, 2024.
