I am a small business owner and have been a resident at Friendly Village Mobile Home Park for the past 4 years. Since the new management company UMH Properties Inc. took over 2 years ago the entire community has went down hill. I'm the type of person who tries to live a quiet, peaceful life without conflict with others, but over the past 2 years I have been forced into conflict multiple times regarding management here. The first Community Manager they had here was Alma, this elderly manager approached my then 7 year old daughter who was riding her electric bike in front of our home, and yelled at her that they weren't aloud. She also had 2 maintenance workers approach my children while riding their bikes to scold them. In no world is this appropriate. Other than that I find it exhausting as well as border line harassment when at least once a month we are served with ridiculous rule violations that threaten charging fees or eviction if not taken care of. I am a reasonable person, and understand why they have those rules, but these violations are preposterous. And when i say ridiculous violations I mean it. Violations include... Violation for low air in vehicle tire in driveway, violation for dirty siding, violation for improper window cover which was a blanket that fell behind our couch and was laying on the bottom of the windowsill. Violations for grass cutting every other week. The current Community Manager Chad Goodlet, unfortunately doesn't seem fit to manage himself, let alone an entire community eager for better treatment.
