    Solon Dental Excellence is attempting to charge us $800 for a service they first said was performed back in 2021 and after we looked into and said we had not been notified of this charge until 2024. Now they say it was for a service in 2024. They are not being forthcoming and we are being taken advantaged of.

    My name is Rae, I am the office manager for Solon Dental Excellence, and am trying to get to the bottom of what is going on with your account and would like to do so in a respectful manner. Before you hung up on me I was trying to explain what the balance on your account is coming from.  From what I can see there is a past balance from a few different things. On 1/18/2022 Liam had some fillings done. His copay was $91.40 which was not paid that day. He also came in on 7/21/22 and had a filling done. He did not pay his copay that day either. He also has a balance from an Onlay that was done on 1/31/2024. Looking at the insurance EOB, it shows that ****** copay for this service was $465.20 and he didn't pay anything that day. I am showing the last time that we saw Liam was that day, so I am unaware of anything going wrong with any dental work that we have done. If you can please let me know what your concerns are, and what you're saying other dentists discovered I would be more than happy to look into this for you. Without this information or documentation from your new dentist I am unable to do anything further. I have tried emailing you also but both yours and your husband's emails got kicked back.

    I would love to get this matter resolved for you. I am more than happy to send you your entire account history showing exactly what we have billed, what insurance has paid, and any copays you have made to our office. Please feel free to give our office a call to discuss this matter further.

    Consumer emailed the following information:

    The business still has not given us an itemized list of why they are charging us $810.00 and reports different items and different years when asked on multiple occasions and have still not shown proof.

    Attached is the account summary showing everything that has been billed, all payments from the patient, and all payments from the insurance. If the patient is concerned that something is incorrect she can request the explanation of benefits from her insurance to show what her balance was from each visit.

    Based on that bill, it does not specify how they got to the $810.00 bill.  I want a specific breakdown list of what this is for, what insurance paid and what the remaining amount is.
