1 starArnolds Home Improvement was the worst and most unprofessional experience that I have ever had with a company. The storm door they installed was damaged. So were the ones they tried to exchange it with. I had to settle for the damaged product. When it still wasnt installed correctly, I followed the grievance procedure they provided and was ignored by both the owner and his son. Eventually since it wasnt installed correctly, one morning, the handle broke off the door and we couldnt get out of our home. When they sent their installer to fix the handle, he snuck off without saying a word and didnt even tell me it was fixed, simply just drove off. They have never offered any apology or showed empathy for their poor workmanship or the inconvenience it caused. I will never utilize this company again or recommend them to others.Review fromJohn H.

I strongly advise against hiring Arnold's Home Improvement LLC for any home repairs or improvements. They have demonstrated highly questionable business practices in the Toledo/Point Place area, especially following the recent tornadoes. Many homeowners, including myself, have been left with homes in worse condition than before the repairs began. Several have had to hire other companies to fix the poor workmanship done by Arnold's Home Improvement LLC. Additionally, the owner’s conduct has been extremely concerning, with reports of erratic behavior and hostility towards customers who express dissatisfaction. For your safety and peace of mind, I recommend avoiding this company at all costs.Arnold's Home Improvement, LLC

I'm so sorry to hear that you feel that way, according to our records we have addressed every issue that you brought to our attention along with providing you with some free materials as a courtesy for your dissatisfaction and offered you discounts on your projects. Currently you have refused to allow Arnold's the opportunity to rectify the project you claimed to be unhappy with after we have made several attempts to do so. Furthermore you personally scheduled the City of Toledo Inspector out to review the quality of our work and then canceled each appointment several times. However after the last cancellation we rescheduled the inspector ourselves and your projects passed inspection and you kicked the inspector off of your property. So let's be honest and acknowledge that Arnold's Home Improvement have made numerous attempts to make your concerns right and you have refused us to do so and you have not paid for any of your projects. Your claims are false and if you would like to pay your past due balance and resolve your concerns then you can contact our office to avoid further litigation. We have been in business successfully over 30 years and if any customer has any questions or concerns please contact us directly so we may assist you. 1 star***************************** with this company. After the tornado that hit the Point Place area, we turned to Arnolds for necessary work due to the storm damage had used their service previously and was satisfied with the work done. This current experience was a nightmare, No follow up from the salesperson who was to give us their estimates. No response to several phone calls, emails & actual visits to the store, just to try & get follow up information on the damage estimates! (Never did get a reply or hear from the salesmen). Did finally get the roof of the ************** completed, but never received further estimate for the house, even though several pictures & visual reviews was done with promises that he would be back with us with estimates. After being strung along for several months, receiving wrong estimates, (estimates for a totally different address), no return calls, anfd then being abruptly told that there was not any other repair order on file for my property. I am angry to be treated in this manner, feel like I have been taken advantage of, in a time of a vulnerable situation. Unprofessional, unreliable company. So much for using & supporting 'HOME TOWN ' business. Never again! I would advise to run away from Arnolds and not allow them anywhere near your property!Review frommichael p

very very very bad company to work for. buyers beware. they will come sell you something you dont need, they won't measure the job, they buy more product than needed then without telling the customer they will alter the contract under your nose to cover their extra expenses. installers beware. I completed a job and they refuse to pay me for services conducted. the home owner even called them to give me a 5 star review. Christina told me I had to show proof the job was done, if the customer called and said I did a fantastic job what more proof do they need? so I took pictures of the tasks completed and one with the home owner infront of their yard sign. then they said I needed to come in and complete some forms for payroll. i went in and asked how payment would be conducted and they said 48 hours after proof of job I will be paid. this was last Thursday 9/14/2023. then Kate had said she needed forms to be signed since every location is different she needs them sign before I can get paid. so then I go in and sign her forms and asked if they can issue me a paper check. she said they dont do that and that the money will be in my account at the end of the day. still nothing I call back and she said the check is in the mail. then proceeded to call me names and told me im nothing with out them and their company. dont deal with the hassle of using a company that knows nothing about business. this is one of those companies that have people wondering how their in businessArnold's Home Improvement, LLC

This Installer completed a job and expected to be paid on the spot. His payroll was submitted on time and he was paid a few days after the job was completed. I spoke to **************** and this matter was resolved and discussed immediately.Review fromDave F.

I have read the other reviews and have to say, my experience was much different. My home is also an older home and had issues that had to be addressed. Rick just did what had to be done to take care of the problems. I haven't used the shower yet as it was just finished about an hour ago. But, it looks great and Rick was so professional and explained how to use the shower heads, the temp control and what I should and shouldn't use to clean. I live alone and was not uncomfortable at all having him in my home and would not hesitate to have him do more work for me.Arnold's Home Improvement, LLC

Well, we like our shower look. Haven't actually tried it out yet because we are waiting for curtain. We are hoping the curtain will fall on the inside to keep water in the base. , but will say that what the salesman seems to have sold us and what was actually installed was different. (not the actual colors or style ~They were right, but like new insulation, wall stopped an inch or so being short of being flushed with a corner wall, and we thought the floor was going to feel more thick and not like thin fiberglass found on the bottom of tubs and showers. That was the problem with our bathtub, it cracked. I am glad that we do have lifetime guarantee.
Another thing was that plumbing did have to be replaced and moved according to installer where the salesman said 'we shouldn't need it, it should be fine where it is.' Not true. So that cost us extra money.
Again, we are glad it's done and we appreciated Rick installing it. He was very nice and sounded very confident on the use of it.
