Erie Roofing came to do our roof, which I thought was way over priced. They were scheduled to come on a monday. I got a message they wouldn't be able to come until tuesday. The weather called for rain tuesday night. They tore off the back half of the roof, including the peak and covered the back half with an underlayment and left for the day. They claimed the peak was covered. Around midnight the rain began to fall, and I began to get wet, sitting in my living room. Damaged my furniture, damaged my carpeting and the ceiling. The contract called for shingles. They put rolled roofing on the front part of the roof. I told them the rolled roofing was not acceptable. I was not happy and I let them know it too. The original crew did not return however the boss came out and covered the front portion with shingles. They did knock off a few dollars from the bill. Then just recently, I discovered damage to the stink pipe, in our crawl space. There was a smell of stagnant water. The only way the stink pipe could have been damaged the way it was damaged was for SOMEONE to smash it in from the top. Erie roofing has been the only people on our roof. If I ever need a roof again, it won't be from Erie Roofing. I'll be sure to tell everyone

From start to finish Erie was top notch-
The product and service are exemplary. We felt the difference immediately. The roofing team was respectful, thorough, and truly tireless.
Business side of things has been completely transparent- if I had a question, it was answered.
Warranty is amazing-even if you don’t go with the metal roof system.

The work crew was a fantastic crew. They arrived on site and set up quietly so as not to disturb neighbors, which was greatly appreciated. They worked in 100 plus degree heat, pushed through and completed the job in a timely manner. After the job was complete and area picked up off all trash and nails, one of the crew did a walk around with my wife and I where we found nothing at all to remark on other than a very clean work place. We will be adding on to our home and will call Erie Roofing to roof the addons.Erie Home

1 starTerrible experience Erie construction used a 3rd party installer for roofing and black gutters and trim and they were un prepared and used my old brown downspouts and painted 3 sides black and left the brown against the house also the spray paint they used was dull compared to high gloss shine that new black ones have also the caps were not caulked and the downspouts were not strapped whole job was leaking. The Same contractor did roof, condition unknown because I did not get up on the roof to check.My wife and I are retired and didn't expect to have to climb on a roof to see if it was ok.I called to complain about all of the problems and they told me the gutter and trim job were done by a 3rd party which we never approved,We hired Erie not a 3rd party wrecking crew to do the job. the material for the both jobs were delivered under Erie account,Needless to say the material was wrong,They started the job and it took them over a week to complete the first round of a disaster ,They had their equipment and tools plus materials left on my property for a week I called them and said they couldn't come because they had no workers that day? Really? the job at this point was what I mentioned in beginning.I called again and they never showed up until 1 month later to fix all the problems.When they showed up at 12:30 after a month they still did not have the material needed. the left and came back 5 1/2 hours later and stayed until 10:30 at night to try and complete the repair but they were too tired to continue and I was out there with my car lights on and flashlights assisting these 2 guys they came back the next morning and spent another large part of my day to repair there work.Talk about inconvenience. NEVER USE ERIE... I have stopped payment and look to get a discount for the headache and stress we went through.i asked for a updated invoice to reflect the discount, but threaten to sue me.
