    The grading of the yard was not finished and done correctly. The seed was applied incorrectly. Signs of the amount of topsoil charged for was not put down. Owner admitted the seeding and grading was his fault and agreed to fix the problems. Set a meeting then never showed up. I received a text stating they would have to wait until spring to reseed. After numerous voicemails and emails he has never responded. This project started in the spring of 2024. I am only looking for him to finish the job correctly. If he refuses to finish the job I would like a sizeable refund from him so I can get the project finished.

    ******* ******** did not follow proper water and care of his installation. He asked for less topsoil material then we recommended which resulted in a less nutrient soil base. He also accepted free dirt to fill his yard, which was not properly compacted when installed. This resulted in settling that AMS was not involved with. ******* also was aware of existing low spots that were going to hold water, but had us proceed, well knowing that the areas were going to hold water. He has since tried to have us repair this project for free, which would cost the company nearly $10,000 out of pocket because of negligence thank you,

    14 Arbor Vitaes were planted and 1 Hemlock tree May 12, 2022.
    The Hemlock tree died and was removed by AMS by fall of 2022.
    2 Ardor Vitae died and 4 more are in bad condition.
    AMS agreed to replace the tress, but has not.
    Initially the Hemlock was not replaced because AMS there was a disease in Hemlock trees and they would replace it in Spring of 2024.
    We agreed that we would see if the Arbor Vitae would recover in 2023 and replace the bad trees in spring of 2024.
    AMS said trees would be replaced in spring of 2024. Then said they would replace trees in early July. Trees have still not been replaced and AMS has not responded to any of my messages.
    The last response was that the trees were on their schedule for early July.

    We do have ***** on our schedule, with issues in the past with the trees, they did not water properly. So unfortunately they did die off.

    We did have ***** on our schedule in July, but with the high temps we decided to push the project until the temps have cooled down. The first week out of the 80’s was last week, but we did receive a lot of rain. I did respond to an email today regarding scheduling, which states we are hoping to be in late this week or early the following week.

    Our apprehension towards replacing them is the fact that they were not watered properly. With ***** being pushy, showing up on a neighbors property while we were conducting business on that property to complain of the dead trees, he was reassured that they’re still on the schedule.

    We are willing to replace the trees and have stated that, but because of the lack of watering we have postponed the project until the temps have dropped. I hope this clears up any information, if there’s anything else you need from us please let us know!
