      Hello,

The person who signed up for service and signed the contract needs to contact us regarding this case. Due to an NDA in our contract we cannot legally speak with you. However, your son is the one that used your card to sign up for the service. We would be more than happy to assist but we need your son to contact us as you are not our client and we did not perform services for you.

Case #******: someone on the ****** app and Instagram blackmailed me. I have a slow learning disability; could you imagine how freaked out I had to have been? I was confused about what to do. I googled (someone's trying to expose my picture), and digital forensics emerged. They started to use scare tactics on me, saying if you don’t use there services, They will post you with a minor; this could ruin your life. You would find a wife if they exposed you. At this point, I’m terrified. telling me this as the blackmailer is on the phone. under pressure, with both in my ears. They tell me to sign the contract. I had little to nothing in my bank. Phase one, they said, starts around 1200 to 1500 dollars. I told them I didn’t have it. They told me to send them what I have as my deposit, and we will start. I sent 120 dollars. they can’t begin until tomorrow. I said so, but the blackmailer is still on the phone. They said I couldn’t do anything unless I agreed to pay more. Of course, I’m going to agree. It was around $8,000. They take over my accounts. And tell me not to log into them until three days or until I’m told. felt anxious because they told me they would keep me updated, but they did not. I decided to log into my accounts on the second day they took over, and all I saw was that the blackmailers were blocked. I called Digital Forensics Corp on the 3rd day because I still hadn’t heard from anyone. I asked if I could log back into my accounts, and he said no because they were still in communication with the blackmailers. He lies to me. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, and giving them the benefit of the doubt I decided to wait to hear what they would tell me in the review. Been months, and I haven’t gotten a review. pressuring me to pay $99 a month and threatening with thelegal team.saying I owed 14608.27 when it's only 8,000, which is very strange. I’m unsatisfied with the scare tactics, the lies, and the threats. I want a refund and cancellation of the contract.

DFC refuses to issue my refund and will not allow me o speak with any supervisors. Their whole system after I requested a refund has become shockingly scary & alarming. My case manager was especially condescending & rude when I simply asked for a general time frame of when to expect a call from Customer Service or have my refund processed. I believe this company is a scam that takes advantage of people in desperate situations. They should be investigated and charged in a court of law.

On 9/12/2023, the final payment as was made to Digital Forensics as per our agreement. On 5/2/2024, I was contacted through email with threats stating they were requiring additional payments. This is very poor business practices and they continue to threaten and harass me in hopes of making additional money that is beyond the scope of our initial agreement. Please make sure to report this shady business practices so no other customer has to experience this type of behavior from a company that is obviously not as respectable and private as they portray themselves.

I contacted Digital forensics due to a sextortion case. I gave them access to my social media account ( tiktok ) to take over a convo with someone that was black mailing me. After not hearing from anyone I logged into the account, seen they talked to the blackmailer 1 time , then blocked them without actually resolving anything. I have called & Emailed my “ case manager “ for a refund of $100 they got me to send for a payment plan & to cancel the subscription . There is a three day policy regarding cancellation & I tried to cancel the second day. I have yet to speak to ANYONE , regarding my refund. Case number #******

I was threatened with extortion from a scammer overseas, and in a vulnerable, distressed emotional state sought out Digital Forensics Corp to help with the situation and stop the scammer. I entered in a phase 1 deal with them on 4/6/24 and paid $500 and an additional $1499 for them to complete a phase 1 investigation. My case number is 684589. They completed it. However, on 4/16/24 during the post-investigation report with ****** ********, my case worker, he coerced me with fear mongering tactics and threatened that the scammer is going to come back and do all these awful things to me, and he coerced me to sign a phase 2 deal with a $200 deposit, and payments for $151.31 for two years. However, 10 minutes after signing the contract, I felt completely uncomfortable by this situation and the way he used my emotional state to scare me into signing. So I called back within 10 minutes and explained to him that I did not feel comfortable and I no longer in need of the service and I wanted to cancel. In the contract, it says that I have a right to a cancellation within 3 days of signing the contract, wand within 1 day am entitled to a 75% refund. I told him I wanted to submit a cancellation and again used fear mongering to try to get me to not. I then stated no thank you. I’d like to submit a cancellation. He agreed and said someone from customer service would reach out and rudely hung up the phone. No one reached out. So I called someone again on the morning of 4/17/24 to see if a cancellation request actually went through. Arturo said it supposedly did, and someone would reach out. NO ONE DID. So I called the afternoon of 4/17 and spoke with someone named Glenn and expressed that I wanted this cancelled NOW. I asked for a confirmation stating my cancellation in writing and my refund. He supposedly took a lot of notes and said Arturo would call me back within 24 hours to cancel. NOTHING has happened. I want this cancelled, and I want it cancelled NOW.

In the Fall of 2022, I got caught up in a sextortion case and called DFC for help. I was charged $1500 up front, and in order to proceed, I was coerced to signing up for an additional $2500 for a phase 2 of their program. After about 36 hours, they located the sextortionist and had them cease the threats or they would be arrested by Nigerian Police. Even though the problem was resolved after 36 hours, again I was coerced into signing a contract for an additional $2500 to keep the criminals away. I paid $150.73 for 11 months before I ran out of money to give them. Now, DFC is sending me threatening emails and text messages from phone numbers all over the country. They are threatening to take all of my assets and garnishing my wages, and hiring a legal team to sue me. However, I cannot get DFC to provide me any information on what it is they believe they are entitled to. They will not provide me access to my account nor will they provide me an amortization reports for all of the money they took from me already. The only way to communicate with this company is through text messages. Now, I am beginning to believ that my sextortion case has turned into an extortion case, except now I am being extorted by DFC. I have even attempted to email them regarding this and have not received any response. I am a 64 year old senior citizen and I believe that I am being taken full advantage of. I am on the verge of a bankruptcy, yet, they tend to believe that I am some rich old man they can take advantage of. I believe I have paid them more than they deserve for the 3 days of service they provided. This company should be investigated.

I cannot get this company to send me the appropriate documents regarding my account. I have asked for an amortization report of the funds that have already been paid along with the amounts owed and why the balance has increased. I have also asked for copies of the original contract. All transactions and agreements have been made via text messaging and verbal phone calls. There must be a way for me to access my account to go over my balance and amounts paid to date. I have no documents to upload because I have not received them. They know my current address as well as other means to contact me outside of the threatening phone calls from phone numbers from all over the country. This company cannot be trusted. I do not trust them because of the way they do their business.

On Sunday, April 28, 2024, I received a text message from DFC with a copy of the initial text messages that I received from the supposed Nigerians 2 years ago, which I was informed at the time, that those messages were deleted and that was what I paid DFC thousands of dollars for in the first place. They assured me that the text messages were deleted. So, I am to assume that A: DFC lied to me and the text messages were never deleted but took my money anyway, or B: DFC kept a copy of the text messages and are using them to blackmail me into paying them the remaining balance on my case. Either way, it considered fraud, and by DFC threatening me in this manner is not provoking me to want to pay the remaining balance after all the money that was invested in the first place for absolutely nothing. This should be considered illegal. Unfortunately, I have fell into money issues in the last couple of years and the funds were no longer available to continue paying the balance. I have considered bankruptcy as well as going through a debt relief program. I am unemployed and struggling to put food on my table and trying to settler a tax issue from 2022 as well. I was also considering making arrangements with DFC to work out my balance, but, now, they have taken this matter to an illegal level by showing me that all of those text messages were never deleted as promised and are now using them against me. Now, I don't know what to do and may have to contact an attorney or the FBI for some legal advise. I am also being forced to change my phone number as well.
