In the beginning, we had a sales rep tell us that he would settle our issue with dampness in our house. He took pictures of our crawlspace and showed us a mess. To the point where he convinced us to go with him. We wished that we hadn't. We have had humidity issues in the house in which he guaranteed us that he would get rid of this. 1. They had put 2 units to get rid of the humidity in which we still have high humidity in the house!!. 2. They put drainage pipes from the sump pumps from the crawl spaces to run to the road. They have been to the house I believe now 4 times to fix the pipes because they have leaked and causing water to stand in the side of the house. Now we have another pipe that they have worked on that is leaking. Every time the sump pump comes on, the water blows up from the ground and stands in the yard. I am absolutely sick and tired of this company. They cannot fix an issue and to where eventually another one breaks.
I have spent a lot of money with this company and its all be a lie. They might have fixed the crawlspace issue, I really don't know because its so tight for me to crawl under the house to see their work. I just have to trust that they did a good job. Its scary to me that they can't fix these two issues to think that the crawl space is done correctly.

My elderly mother had Everdry Cincy come to her house to look at a crack in her basement that was found after moving items that had been covering it out. The sales rep had a bunch of papers and was going over everything with her as my husband and I came over to see the progress of the work being done on her house. After the rep stating they would charge over $23K to fix the crack, I told him that I would get my General Contractor out to take a look for a second opinion. The Licensed GC to has done basement and crawl space work for my company told us that all that was needed was a good sump pump and for the crack to be filled with epoxy which would cost about $3500 total. Today my mom received what was the 4th or 5th call from Everdry to schedule work. She was told that she was under contract and outside of her recission period. This is upsetting to my 77 year old mother who is putting the money she has in to updating her home for the first time since the 1970s. I got on the phone and told the rep the situation and that she wasn't interested nor could she afford their bid. I was there for the end of the meeting with the sales rep and never did he tell my mother that she was signing a contract and I made it clear that we were getting a second opinion before anything was decided. I just had to stop working to dig out my Power of Attorney paperwork that I have for my Mom and email it to [email protected] to get a cancelation. PLEASE help us stop these predatory practices against the elderly. It is so very sad that this happens to so many. We appreciate any help you can give us and hope we don't have to get an attorney involved.

This everdry basement waterproofing system was installed in my home in 2018, i have lived in this home for 6 years and i used to brag on how dry my basement was and how it didnt smell like mildew etc, shortly after i moved into the home the basement was getting wet spots so i would call and months later there warranty team would come out and fix the concerns, you would think a system that costed 23000 would never need repairs ever again but thats not how this company works. fast forward to december of 2024 i had everydry come out to fix another leak and to grind the concrete level so i could paint the basement floor to finish the basement as we are welcoming a new baby and we need the extra space. the guy that came out in december to perform the work started to grind the concrete which i would feel like for 23000 the concrete around the perimeter of the basement should of been smooth as the rest of the floor, when he started grinding water started coming up through the floor and he stopped and called a supervisor, when i asked him why water is coming through the floor he said because when they installed the system they didnt bury the soaker hoses deep enough when they installed the system. they scheduled for the inspector to come out and see what was needed done, after the inspector left we were on the schedule for MAY. you would think our repair would be on top of the list because 8 years ago they didnt do there job correctly, since december i have called them 3 times telling them water is coming through our basement floor more and more and they didnt push us forward at all they said we will take care of it in may, in april the basement completely flooded and ruined everything 10000 worth of damage to the furniture and baby stuff we were keeping. mold spores and mold began growing on everything i am seeking a new system replacement asap and compensation for the stuff damaged due to them not installing the system correctly and putting us off for so long.

During the week of April 1st through April 4th we had very heavy rain. Back on Saturday April 5th 2025 our pumps started to go bad. We have 5 pumps total. 3 pumps in one well and 2 in the other well (2 sump wells total). During this time, all 5 pumps were going off (including the back-up ones) and slowly our pumps starting going bad (April 5th 2025). I contacted someone Saturday April 5th from Everdry of Cincinnati and they told me that they could not make it out until Monday April 7th of 2025 and advised me to call another plumber and that they would reimburse me. I ended up contacting "******* Plumbing" here in *********, **. I received my receipt after I paid and submitted it to Everdry. When I called Everdry on Monday April 7th, I was told they had "zero" availability and they couldn't make an appointment until Wednesday April 30th 2025.

Then on Sunday April 13th the check valve Everdry installed for our sump system sprung a large leak and was spewing water everywhere. I tried to call Everdry several times but there was no answer. Therefore, I contacted ******* Plumbing of *********, ** again and they came out and fixed the issue.

I was told I would be reimbursed for these invoices. When I called however, they tried to argue the second invoice saying I never got "pre-approved". Well... How could I get "pre-approved" when no one answered their phone at Everdry? I couldn't just let water spew all over the place so like I said, I contacted ******* Plumping again.

I have e-mailed and called Everdry several times and have not heard anything back. No follow up on their part at all. The customer service is very lacking and a bit rude. I pay yearly for that warranty they offer but you have to fight tooth and nail for it.

Based on the above said, I'd like to get reimbursed for the $1,395.60 that I spent on getting their system fixed over the weekend(s). Two separate occasions that both happened over the Weekend when Everdry can't come out.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our contract with EverDry due to financial reasons. We cancel outside of the “cooling off period”. Due circumstances out of our control we had no choice. When we submitted our request in writing EverDry requested that the sales person meet at our home one more time. My husband agreed. This afternoon 3/31/2025, the sales person we initially met with arrived a few minutes early. My husband noticed that he was pulled up the street a bit which was odd. Considering he pulled in our driveway during our last meeting. A car pulls up slowly and turns into our driveway. Then the salesman that we were familiar with turned around and pulled in behind this person. The unknown gentleman got out of his car, he was a larger built gentleman with several tattoos stating that he is the Regional Sales Manager and wanted to come into the house to discuss the contract. Upon entering the house he states that the contract cannot be broken and that if my husband would give him $5000 right then all would go away. Please keep in mind that we have already paid $2400 deposit and understood that we were losing that. Also, upon canceling the contract we recognized that they had installed the *** ****** System and asked to be invoiced. (Upon research, this system is $4000 installed which is in the high end). My husband refused to give $5000 to the gentleman who then started threatening his with collections and going after me.

This entire meeting felt like an intimidation ploy. Once the salesperson (whom did not say a word while here) and the gentleman left. We noticed the the new persons title on his Business Card is “Foundation Specialist”

We felt terrible about canceling our contract….we need the work completed. Just not feasible for us at this time. The interaction with the gentleman this afternoon has left us very uncomfortable with the EverDry brand and business ethics.

Work started 10/16, complete 10/18. Issue upon issue since, not enough space to disclose everything, will sum up. Current issue, has been over a month since I have been contacted regarding the most recent leak. Notified last worker on 1/28/25 at my home, he showed me plan and I would be contacted to schedule. This will be the 6-7th time they have come out to fix their original work, have been to my home a min of 9 times looking and planning for next repair. My main complaint, Everdry's work ethic & communication within. Almost every time, I have had to contact them to schedule repairs they stated they would call me to schedule. My initial complaint after completed work was a water spot. Called salesman Jeremy first about water & little things that added up. He came and was unhappy with the shape of my property before coming in, dirt in window sill, flowers covered, mixed all lava rock with dirt that I will have to redo, wood supporting beam barley attached to joust, screwed in sideways wood not touching wood. Foreman came out, addressed issues, wall had been soaked over 5 cinder bocks by then, showed him pictures as it was dry now. Stated all work needed to be done inside when water was clearly coming from the wall outside. Came out to do work, Kenny's work looks great except main wall that was soaked was not touched & not in work order. I called a supervisor Ken, sending supervisor. Miscommunication regarding time for someone to come out, argued with Mandy, talk to Ken! Sup Nathan states work to be done outside to fix, 2 other's said no.
More leaks after this work completed, garage, came for garage, showed laundry room, not been contacted since. Also found a chunk of concrete that is only 1 1/2 inches thick on top of gravel underneath. Concrete floor in residential home should be a min of 4 inches. Noticed when remodeling, already had walls framed in bedroom, very concerned that my furniture will break through the floor. Will expect Everdry to repair any damages!

When trying to cancel, was told N**** would come by to cancel. N**** and his "manager" came, making me feel uncomfortable and intimidated due to two people sent to just cancel. Manager asked to reevaluate the work needed done. He pointed out that I had stair step cracks and that insulation had been sprayed on the rim joists due to foundation issues. He claimed I was risking foundation issues if I did not get their work done. None of these issues were mentioned at initial evaluation. Told initially by N**** they could not dig all the way down to seal walls due to proximity to other houses, but manager now said they could and would. I said I did not want the EZ breathe anymore and the manager said it could be removed and would save me $1000. But I was told I would have to pay $7,700 if I canceled due to materials already being prepped because of a handwritten discounted “flexible start date”. 1) One handwritten section states it “could start as soon as 9/30” but the “complete by” date was 12/27/24. This demonstrates no real knowledge of the exact start date. 2) No breakdown of the $7,700 was provided at the time (9/19/24) but I was told I had to pay if I wanted to cancel. 3) When I asked afterwards for a breakdown of this “$7,700” cost of materials from Everdry (received the next day) it was dated 9/20/24, demonstrating a breakdown of materials wasn’t known until requested, yet they said I owed $7700 the day before. Breakdown included deep crock, 2x sump pumps, wifi BBU, SLM battery, concrete, and tar - items that cannot be prepared specific for a jobs measurements, yet I was told are now “unusable” due to being specific for my house measurements. Also, it included the EZ breath at $2000, ($1000 more than the manager told me it would save). I feel coerced by Everdry with intimidation tactics to not cancel, threats of 1/3rd the cost of the job in materials if I cancel, and lied to multiple times on capabilities and material prep with no clear disclosure in contract.

Homeowner signed a contract on 8/27/2024, then cancelled on 9/16/2024. Since the homeowner cancelled outside of the 3 day rescission period, per line 14 of his contract, we are entitled to recover all of our damages including lost profit as a result of said cancellation. While speaking with our sales manager on 9/19/24 the homeowner specifically said that after speaking to our representatives that came to his home to explain this to him that he has spoken to his lawyers and that will not hold up. Upon purchase of my home in early 2008, I inherited the Lifetime warranty on recent work that EverDry done in the basement. I pay $40 yr to sustain it. The paperwork I was provided from the seller is basically a stack of brochures regarding what was done. The Estimate says $24,828. I've had to request various issues, one of which, I had to ask them to repair the damage done to my back porch. It was cut up to access the back wall for repair, it was done so poorly that putting it back together was not possible. They did finally return and repair it. Recently, I noticed that one walls cinderblock is horizontally creating a crack. Per the rep, "it is not covered under the warranty because they had not originally added the wall reinforcement beams on that wall". I was shocked to hear the rep tell be that since the warranty doesn't mention that would happen at all. They have performed exterior repair on that wall in the past, which was supposed to make sure that I could safely put-up drywall and refinish the area without being concerned of moisture seeping through the wall. I believe they should be responsible for installing beams that will keep it from getting worse. I don't feel as if I should have to pay for something that should have been done in the first place, or when the exterior repair was done by them.

      Sincerely,

I’m sure that the everdry product is very effective. My parents also used them which is why I hired them. Their only issue was that they spilled cement down their stairs. Nevertheless, my day 2 of the job and the absolute nightmare. It was the last day of the job and should’ve been a short day. However, when going to detach the sink that was next to my washer, the pipe detached from the water heater and began spraying water. Did the foreman come to me and ask where the shut off was? No. And I was home the entire time on both days. Although I’ll admit that I didn’t know where it was but when I learned what was going on, I was actively trying to figure it out with them. For 40 minutes, water was spraying out all over my basement. I was assured that they would clean up the mess. They didn’t.
I asked before the foreman left if the water was turned back on and he said it was but I had to call him back out because it wasn’t. When he went back down to the basement to turn on additional water lines, I was on the top floor making sure everything worked. He failed to close the basement door and the cats went downstairs where there was wet cement. There are paw prints all over the place and as of yesterday, one had to go to the hospital and is now on numerous medications due to the cement poisoning.
They threw random items in the sink and there’s cement pieces in the sink! And there were pieces of their plastic tarps somewhere near the washer dryer because I now have a pair of damaged leggings as a piece of plastic is fused to it.
They cracked one of the tiles. And I have an outlet that has cement in it!!
I have a baseboard that is broken and the base of the door is busted open. The cat tower previously stood there so I do not know what happened but you can see wood now.
And there’s also a gap between the cement and the baseboard. I’m aware that they can come out and lay more but after everything that happened, I can honestly say that I don’t trust them.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

The company is not ready and willing to help as they have quite literally blocked me. “We’ve been in business for 40 years because we care about our customers” is only true when you get it right. When you get it wrong- you block them. I told you what I want when you were here. The contract shredded. I do not trust you.

And as previously stated, the company has blocked me. This company cannot be trusted. They have damaged my property and shrugged their shoulders at it. They do not care.
you said you could shred the contract, so do it. Be a man of your word for once then.

I want to be crystal clear here. The business has blocked me.
The business has caused MORE damage than what they charged me for in the job.
The business is taking no accountability and has tried to even blame an outside pipe which is both hilarious and absurd because it would be in the walls and ceiling and I’d be able to file a homeowner insurance claim.
I do NOT TRUST this business to come into my home and cause further damage! You have already caused THOUSANDS of dollars in damage!

This business said they can tear up the contract and that is what I want  I do not trust them and do not want them causing further damage in my home.

This business also said they’d cover the vet bill of the cat that nearly died because of them and they still have not.
They are not one where their word is their bond. They CANNOT be trusted.

This damage was done on December 12, 2023. They went all this time and never said a word to me.
And I would also like to point out that when this company dumped cement down my parents’ basement stairs, they took  3 years off their contract. They did FAR MORE damage in my basement. They broke a pipe and water poured all over for 40 minutes. They said they’d clean it up and they lied. So many lies.
like when lance said he can’t tell the HOA that my home was at stage 3 because of hipaa  I didn’t know he was a doctor nor that I was a patient. Lies. Over and over and over.

      I don’t want you.

All I want, all I will accept at this point is the termination of the contract.

We have been in contact with the homeowner on multiple occasions since the job was installed, and even met with them at their residence on 1/18/24. So the fact that she said that we haven't said a word since December 12th is false. We have taken full accountability and have even offered to go above the terms of our contract to help with the situation. After we met at her home to discuss options, the homeowner said she would be in touch with us to discuss the options that we left with her. She never called and instead made a BBB complaint. We even tried to call the homeowner earlier this week to discuss options. We will not be tearing up the contract. We stand behind our work and will be right here ready, willing, and able to complete follow up work for the homeowner. As far as the vet bill, they should be receiving that at any time. It was put in the mail earlier this week. We are trying everything to make this situation right.

Again, this company blocked me. There cannot be any communication with a company that blocks a form of communication. Furthermore, they had the audacity to come into my home, disrespect me, call me a liar and lie to my face. I have evidence on my side and if I have to take the company to court, I will do that.

by the way, I have an employee that reached out to me privately that says this is so common for you to be negligent and fail to take accountability.

so if you don’t tear up the contract, I’ll begin looking for attorneys to have it not only terminated but you will pay for all the damages. I’m not playing with you.
you will not step foot in my house ever again and disrespect me or my home. You cannot be trusted.

It is very unfortunate that this situation has come to this. We have made attempts to contact you by phone to no avail, to discuss options on moving forward. We still stand ready, willing, and able to rectify this situation in the quickest manner possible. I would prefer to talk to you directly to resolve this matter personally and professionally. However, if you feel it is necessary to involve attorneys, please have them contact me directly at ###-###-#### so we can get our legal team involved as well. We look forward to coming to a mutual resolution as quickly as possible.
