    NEVER do business with this company!!!They lie about everything and blame their customers when they s**** up. When they don't show up for an appointment, they lie about a pre-arranged phone call that required a confirmation of said appointment when nothing had been previously stated nor did they call and/or leave a message to that effect. On the appointment day, no one calls to explain anything and no one shows up. Customer is left waiting around and missing work because of these deceitful business practices. This is just one example.Usually, one makes an business appointment and the both parties show up. If there is a problem, one party calls the other. Not with this business. They just do what they want and patronize their irate customers when they get caught. It's amazing they can treat customers like this and stay in business.STAY AWAY!!!

    The purpose of this Complaint is to inform the public of this company taking advantage of elderly customers. I scheduled this company to go to my mother's condo to check her clothes dryer which had a clicking sound when running. I was quoted $129.95 trip charge that included the first 30 minutes of labor. Unfortunately, I was not able to be there for the service call. According to my mother, the serviceman removed a panel and discovered a clothes pin, so he removed the clothes pin and the clicking stopped. When he attempted to charge more than $129.95, my mother questioned him, "But you were only here 10 minutes." He charged her an additional $49.95 for labor, which was the shortest amount of time he could. Total bill was $193.39 which included tax. My takeaway from when I called to complain is that they wanted to brush this under the rug. Without even looking at my account, the person first said that the additional labor fee is for over 30 minutes. When I said the tech was there less than 30 minutes, she said she would talk with the tech, check the *** and call me back. When she called back, she said the *** showed him there 33 minutes but she would send me a refund check of $53.70 ($49.95 plus tax). I also requested the start and end time of the ***, because if the truck was there 33 minutes, obviously the tech was not inside the house working for that entire period of time. I received an email of the start and end time, and it only showed 24 minutes. When I mentioned my concern on the telephone that this company was taking advantage of older customers, the person said this tech is one of their most honest. Anyways, they acknowledged no wrongdoing and just wanted to sweep this under the rug. They wrongly attempted to charge for an overage fee. My concern with this company is how many people will just accept the extra fee and not question it.

    I called Appliance Man for a quote to replace a roller that was squeaking in my dryer. Joe the representative told me at the top of the call that there was a 139 dollar service all fee. He then told me that they usually replace all four rollers. He then looked up the cost of the roller and told me that they run around 130 dollars a pair, plus 120 dollar labor fee, totaling $ 250. I understood that this was the quote.
    When the technician arrived he told me it would be over 400 hundred dollars. I didn’t understand that the service call was included on top of the two proceeding items.
    Bottom line, if I would have understood the real quote, I wouldn’t have had him come out. So, I paid 150 dollars for nothing.
