Bought a 15 road glide from iron pony with 5,000 miles on it. Yes I did not purchase warranty to go with bike. However, was told the bike was inspected and passed inspection. 2 days after bringing bike home I had to add 3 quarts of oil as it was pretty much out of oil. Called service department after bringing bike home because bike was smoking randomly and was told that it could be normal because of the bike sitting on the floor for awhile and was told that it’s sort of normal for a Harley to smoke a little. Okay so I blew that off thought it was normal. Now bike has weird noise coming from motor and is back firing and smoking way worse. I have put 800 miles on bike and have had to put 7 quarts of oil in it since. Smoking way more when warmed up. Both spark plugs are completely fouled. Got with iron pony, was told on phone that I wouldn’t have to pay a dime despite not purchasing warranty and everything would be made right and repaired. Received a call that “bike was started and brought to temp and couldn’t reproduce any symptoms under any throttle position or any load”. They had no notes of the symptoms I reported of the bike smoking that much, how much oil I had to put in the bike, nothing about spark plugs or the noise I was hearing. Gaskets weren’t checked at first, rings and pistons weren’t checked at first. I had to call back and ask that those things be checked. Received a call back that both cylinders, rings and pistons, and oil pumped had to be replaced. Iron pony and now telling me I either have to pay for the parts, or pay $1,000 for warranty after I was told on the phone that everything would be repaired and handled without me spending a dime. Unhappy is an understatement and I don’t believe I will buy another thing from this place. I’ve bought two bikes and my family have bought dirt bike and several four wheelers. Will probably find someone else to service and work on I my from now on.

This is a terrible place with terrible customer service. The service manager is a joke. My son bought a Segway, Fugelman SIDE by SIDE. He brought it home and it did not run properly. The coil pack was on backwards, the O2 sensor was hooked up backwards, engine was not running properly. And, Iron Pony or Segway are not standing behind their product. Don't purchase anything through them as they don't stand behind their products.

I had my 2017 Indian Scout Sixty towed there because the fuel pump didn't kick on nor would the bike start after replacing the handlebars. I am a mechanic myself so I used a multimeter to make sure the kill switch and starter switch had continuity. Both did. I then followed the lines to the harness in the headlight housing and checked continuity on the other side of the harness, which was good. I then tested continuity on the actual fuel pump which was good, and then the harness that plugs into the fuel pump, which only half of that had continuity. I then pulled the fuel pump fuse to see if it was blown, which it wasn't. I then checked the continuity for where the first plugged in and there was none.
I told the service techs all this info. I still had not been contacted so I called and they said I needed a new right cube housing, which costs $335 before they mark it up, which I do not need. Yes I did damage a piece of it, but it was only cosmetic and has no bearing on the issue.
To have done all my homework on this issue, and giving them notes, when dropping my bike off for them to say that and then charge me $200 is unacceptable

Vehicle owner allowed us to proceed as we originally diagnosed & recommended. The issue was solved with the replacement of the damaged switch.

Bought a brand new bike. Asked for a specific model verified with the sales person several times and the financial officer several times. I did sign the paperwork so legally they don't have to make it right but doesn't excuse that you can't trust them to sell you the bike they say they are selling you. Spoke with them to try and see what we can do. They said tough shit not our problem.

Dec 8 2022. I was at Iron Pony yesterday to buy a full coverage helmet. I bought one online and it was too small. Rather than do the mail order run around I drove up to the business. They gave me full credit for the helmet and I used that credit on another helmet that did fit. I found the service counter staff, the electronics clerk and Blake back in the helmet department to be helpful and product knowledgeable. I would never have gotten all I needed on the helmet with Blake's guidance. They were recommended to me at my Ohio BMV motorcycle course and the instructor was right on the money.
